| My husband and I learned so much on this walk around Park Slope. Our tour guide Rick was fantastic; he's a great story teller and always had a joke up his sleeve, we had a great time hanging out with him for the three hour tour. He was very considerate given the 100 degree weather, keeping us in the shade when possible and places to stop in for A/C and cold water. We learned about the history, the architecture, and the transitions the neighborhood has gone through over the years. What amazed me the most was all the architectural knowledge the guide had memorized. If you would like to know all there is to know about Park Slope, this is the tour for you! The tour covered everything, from 4th Avenue to through the park, very comprehensive! |

| It was a broiling hot day in Brooklyn, but Big Rick took great care to keep us entertained (and in the shade as much as possible). He has a knack for telling stories and sharing historical and architectural information about a truly beautiful neighborhood. The pizza towards the end of the tour was a perfect pick-me-up. Take this tour--you won't be disappointed. |

| We had a great afternoon with Rick. He is enthausiastic and knowledgeable about Brooklyn and a fun guy to spend time with. This tour was the most personal tour I've ever been on and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get a taste of how Brooklyn was and how it is today. |

| Big Rick has a great personality. So much information, you will be pleasantly surprised if not amazed. How he remembers it all is impressive.
My husband and I are from Central Jersey, and have been around brooklyn before. It is amazing how much you miss if you don't have a guide pointing out the special little things that you have probably walked past a hundred times, but never noticed.
I look forward to Big Rick's other endeavors. We will definitely be back to take his future tours. We can't wait for the cemetry tour. Rick will undoubtedly make it as interesting, if not even more so than the walking tour of Brooklyn.
Not only was Rick happy to tell us everything we ever wanted to know about Brooklyn, but also was happy to recommend places for us to eat and drink after the tour since it was our anniversary.
Thanks again for giving us a taste of how friendly the folks really are in Brooklyn. |

| Big Rick was great. My husband and I learned a lot about the area and really saw some wonderful architectural elements and heard some great family stories, Brooklyn "urban legends", and history. I loved the stories and history and encourage Rick to include even more. Rick was very personable and entertaining. He made us feel like friends, not tourists.
Thanks Rick! |

| When we walked down Brooklyn's 4th Avenue we wondered what we have let ourselves in for. The body shops and building works on such a wide avenue looked less than attractive, but don’t be mislead.
On meeting our host at the Brownstone Bagel and Bakery (Who do exceptional bagels) things got instantly better.
Rick (our guide) is someone you can instantly like and has that authentic New York drawl we English love. You can almost see him in an old James Cagney gangster movie. He instantly takes us away from 4th Avenue and any worries we had are gone. Rick’s knowledge of the area, its history and culture is extensive, obviously his miss spent youth wasn’t so miss spent.
While we follow him through the streets of Brooklyn he is both informative and good humored. His obvious love for the area, its architecture and history come through by the bucket full.
You should treat yourself to another side of New York often not seen. Ask lots of questions, Rick will have the answer and enjoy. Even the pizza is good. |

| This was a tour I had been longing for for some time and it filled all my expectations. Our guide was knowledgeable, and chose many details that were interesting to comment on. A plus was that he had lived in a "south Park Slope" neighborhood all his life. The tour was never boring! |
