A Tour Grows in Brooklyn Walking Tour

Rick was a awesome tour guide. He is friendly, personable and extremely knowledgable. I always wondered where Prospect Park was.

For someone new to Brooklyn, the tour was a great way to get a first look. RK is very informative and we found his tour to be a wonderful experience. RK has a great personality, sense of humor and his knowledge of the area cannnot be compared. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone and hope to do it again soon!

The guide for the tour provided so much information about the Park Slope area of Brooklyn as well as other areas. His knowledge, great story telling abilities, enthusiasm in imparting the information, great sense of humor and more made the tour a highlight of our trip to New York. Hard to imagine a better way to spend 3 hours in NY. Rick is a knowledgeable and charming tour guide who knows his history and is very much part of the Brooklyn community he grew up in. We wanted to see Brooklyn because we had not visited that burrough in our many trips to New York. We found Rick's tour online and thought the tour might fit what we were looking for. We were pleased to find that it was what we thought it would be and more. Rick took us throughout Brooklyn and gave us facts and personal stories which were quite interesting. We got to see the beautiful neighborhoods and understand the history of the area. It's truly amazing the amount of information that Rick knows about the area. Being a native to the area, he made the tour have a personal feel to it. The pizza at the end was a nice way to round out the tour. We plan to look Rick up again on our next trip to New York! We highly recommend this tour.

The tour was a good mix of interesting information on the history of the area and the guide's personal experience in the neighborhood. Well worth attending and a great way to learn more about Brooklyn.
