| "A Tour Grows in Brooklyn" is not to be missed. I learned more from "Big Rick" about Brooklyn and the Park Slope area than any guidebook. The history, the best places to eat, the architecture and famous Brooklynites were all covered and topped off with a slice of pizza at the end - can't say fairer than that! |

| This was the best activity I have ever participated in while visiting NYC. Rick was an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, interesting and fun. I never visited Brooklyn before our walking tour...we fell in love with Park Slope and plan to visit again in the future. I highly recommend this tour. Be brave and venture beyond Manhattan into Brooklyn and TAKE THIS TOUR. You will not be disappointed. |

| The Brooklyn walking guided tour that I attended was an absolute success. I can recommend this tour as for it's way it gave me an impression of this part of New York.
Richard demonstrated a thorough knowledge of practicaly every house or building we passed. He is a great storyteller. And he knows his way around on architecture and on people that lived there in the past. He gained his experience on a very practical base: having lived in the neighbourhood all his life.
Walking through the streets was combined with walking through the park. Even a very Brooklyn like thing to do as pizza eating was comprised.
An absolute recommendation !! |

| Our tour guide was not only an expert on history and arquitecture of the neighbourhood, he was a real brooklynite, who could enrich our walk with his personal views, interesting stories and impressions. Thus the tour turned out to be truly interesting and full of life. The guide likes his job and loves his neighbourhood. I got a very good impressions of Brooklyn and had a great time. |

| Very fun walking tour from a guy who grew up in the neighborhood. This means you get fun stories in addition to architectural commentary and city history. if you like walking tours, check this one out. |

| Rick, the tour guide, is a Brooklyn native and provides a very enjoyable walking tour of an interesting part of Brooklyn. The tour mixes architectural observations with comments about the area's history, and it provides a very nice introduction to this part of NYC. It also points out some nice areas that one could visit further on one's own (shopping, parks, museums, etc.) |

| My husband, my adult son and myself did the tour and it was one of the highlights of our weekend in NYC. The best part of the tour was the opportunity to see things that we would not have if we would have come into Brooklyn ourselves. Big Rick is excellent at what he does. We went on to spend a few more hours in Brooklyn that day and returned after Bike NY on Sunday for dinner. The tour ntroduced us to a new world to explore. |

| Focuses on the Park Slope section of Brooklyn. Rick, the tour guide, grew up and lives in the neighborhood. In addition to the usual history and architectural highlights, he fills in with stories of growing up and describes how the neighborhood has changed over time. Most walking tours seem to run about $10 per hour, so at $30 for 3 hours with water and pizza thrown in, this is a good value for anyone who wants to see some of NYC outside Manhattan. |
