| We freqently visit New York, and had read that Brooklyn had a lot to offer, but had never ventured over the bridge. We greatly enjoyed all of the facts provided by Rick, the comprehensive tour, as well as his own personal recollections of growing up in Brooklyn. We definitely felt as if we were seeing the place through the eyes of someone who knows every nook and cranny and who has a deep love for Brooklyn and had a great time on the tour. In fact, the time went so fast that we could have gone on for a few more hours! Everyone in our group would enthusiastically recommend the tour to others. | ||||||

| We are from Argentina and have been many times in NY. With this tour we learned that NY is much more than Manhattan. We discovered a beautiful neigborhood full of history, quiet and peace. Our guide really seemed to know every inch of the area. We usually travel by ourselves, but we would never have got to see what we saw if we had not taken this tour. We highly recommend it to everybody that likes to learn and discover something new on every trip. | ||||||

| It was a beautiful fall day and as it turned out my wife and I were the tour group for the day. Big Rick knows his stuff. The tour time was jam packed with information and even better, personal insight...things only a native of the area would ever know. Besides being a great story teller with a wonderful sense of humor, Rick has done his homework and shares detailed architectural, cultural, social, and general sight seeing information in an entertaining way. Park Slope is fascinating...do yourself a favor...do this tour. This is what all tours should be like. | ||||||

| Excellent tour guide, great tour, informative, safe, great exercise. Brooklyn is a borough that should be explored as much as Manhatten,. Queens not so much. The guide was friendly and had lots of tidbits of info that contributed to an interesting 3 hours. | ||||||

| Never ever realized that Brooklyn was so cultural and historical!!! This tour had the flavor of the community mixed with personal stories of the guide. Walking down the past and imagining the future if this "kid sister" across the river from NYC was a magical day... topped with a cheese pizza!!!! | ||||||

| My 24 year old daughter and I are both architecture nuts so this tour was ideal for us. Rick was so knowledgeable regarding different architectural styles and pointed out details that we'd never have noticed on our own. The 3 hour walking tour took us up and down some of the major streets in the neighborhood and we even went into Prospect park to have a look at the Long Meadow. We asked a few questions and there wasn't one that Rick couldn't answer. We were thoroughly satisfied with the tour. After we finished this tour we walked the Brooklyn Bridge over to Manhattan which was a real treat as well. We really enjoyed our day in Brooklyn. We highly recommend this tour! | ||||||

| Rick was very knowledgeable about the area yet what really distinguished this from other walking tours I've done was the genuine love for the neighborhood and it's history. Hearing about the how neighborhoods in and around the slope had changed through the years (for good and bad), as well as hearing trivia about Rick's family and friends and their place in the neighborhood, made for a very rich experience. | ||||||

| This is an excellent tour of the Park Slope and Prospect Park areas of Brooklyn. The leader is very knowledgable about the history of the area, a bit about the architecture and has a lot of enthusiasm. The only minor hiccup is that the talks a bit much about himself and his experiences in the neighborhood. At first this provides a firsthand perspective but it wears a bit thin and he talks about himself rather than asking about those on the tour. | ||||||

| Recommended for those who don't want an ordinary Gray Line or Double Decker tour in Manhattan. The tour guide is a really great guy. You indeed walk and walk and walk on this tour but don't have to bring your own water bottle. Find out why for yourself. | ||||||

| A friend had done this tour over the summer of 2009. Being from Philadelphia, I was very interested in learning more about Brooklyn. I asked a group of friends if they would be interested and we planned to take a day off from work to do the tour. Our guide, "Big Rick", was very knowledgeable and shared numerous personal stories. We were also able to walk through one of the mansions along the route of the tour. I recommend this highly. I might even do it again. This time I'd plan to do it on a Sunday when we might be able to see inside some the houses of worship along the way. I will also now go back on my own to explore some of the areas that we visited. | ||||||
