| Just wanted to drop a line that I took one of your "A tree grows in Brooklyn" walking tours on 1 Jul and it was great. Our service provider, Rick, was exceptionally knowledgeable and made the tour so very interesting and educational. I felt that I was getting a genuine tour from a genuine "local" and felt that my money and time was well spent. Rick even changed the schedule a bit to meet our unique requirements. | After yearly trips to Manhattan for more than two decades, we decided it was time to cross the bridge. Rick provided us with an authentic view of his lifelong neighborhood. From history to culture to architecture we were immersed in a fun and informative walk. The legendary brownstones are lovely, the churches and former mansions magnificent. We learned of Revolutionary battles, Olmsted's "other" park, the ethnic diversity through the years, urban gardens and more all sprinkled with anecdotes only this real Brooklynite could provide. Rick customized our tour to our interests and left us wanting to return. And don't forget the pizza! | ||||||

| We had a great time seeing Brooklyn. Never realized there was so much history and beauty there. While many stereotypes were challenged, we also felt like our guide was out of a movie--a real Brooklynite! It was a great way for us to spend a few hours on a beautiful day and see a different side of NYC. | ||||||

| The day we took the tour was gorgeous. We lucked out and were the only two people on the tour so it was super personal, fun, informative and we would go again in a heartbeat. Rick was friendly and knowledgeable about the neighborhood, the architecture was amazing, the pizza was great. What a fun way to spend the afternoon exploring the neighborhood in which we live. | ||||||

| My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Big Rick's walking tour through neighborhoods that were filled with wonderful architecture. Rick identified Romansque, Queen Ann and Victorian detail along with specialities like Eggs and Dart designs and original Tiffany stained windows. We also enjoyed listening to Rick's boyhood stories describing how it was in his younger days in Brooklyn . This tour was definitely worthwhile and extremely enjoyable to all in the group. | ||||||

| Rick provided a wonderful and very personal introduction to Brooklyn. He provided local color, history and architecture of the various neighborhoods. I would recommend this tour to my family and friends. | ||||||

| This was the best activity I have ever participated in while visiting NYC. Rick was an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, interesting and fun. I never visited Brooklyn before our walking tour...we fell in love with Park Slope and plan to visit again in the future. I highly recommend this tour. Be brave and venture beyond Manhattan into Brooklyn and TAKE THIS TOUR. You will not be disappointed. | ||||||

We enjoyed immensely not only the things we saw and were told about on the tour, but also the local color provided by our guide, based on his growing up in the area. | Some friends and I took this tour one year ago and it was great fun. So much so, that we brought back another friend, who was born in Brooklyn. As usual, Rich was terrific; knowledgeable, helpful and passionate about his hometown. If you want something that makes three hours feel like three minutes, then this is the tour for you. Bravo Rich! | I have travelled to Manhattan several times but had not had the chance to see Brooklyn prior to this trip. I happended to be the only person booked on this date, and Rick was still very enthusiastic to share his knowledge and stories about the area with me. The three hours flew by and I got to have a fantastic insight to how the area was, and continues to evolve. Highly recommended - and thanks Rick! | ||||||

| A group of us went on Ric's Brooklyn Tour, A Tour Grows in Brooklyn, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Ric was knowledgeable and pleasant and full of information about what we were seeing. It was a treat to be introduced to this neighborhood by a 'home boy'! | ||||||
