| Myself (52), my husband (53) and our daughter (19) attended this tour and we really enjoyed it. Rick, our guide, grew up in the neighbourhood and still retains great affection for and pride in his Brooklyn roots. He was able to tell us many entertaining stories of the development of the neighbourhood. We covered lots of ground at a comfortable pace, and saw the beautiful residential areas of Park Slope. Rick pointed out many social and architectural details that we never would have known otherwise. We saw Prospect Park, and many fascinating public buildings. We finished with a slice of tasty pizza and continued to wander around the lovely streets of restaurants and boutiques after the tour finished. We ate at a restaurant Rick recommended and the food was delicious. We then made our way to the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge and walked back into Manhattan, a pleasant half hour walk. We had a great, informative and fun time with Rick and highly recommend this tour. Nancy, Allan and Emily. | ||||||

| Rick provided a wonderful and very personal introduction to Brooklyn. He provided local color, history and architecture of the various neighborhoods. I would recommend this tour to my family and friends. | ||||||

| Rick was a knowledgable tour guide who kept us laughing throughout the tour. Although the tour is 3 hours long, it never felt too long nor too rushed; Rick was always willing to answer any question we had. My parents were in from out of town and it was a good way to begin their stay and also gave me and my wife information about the neighborhood we have lived in for a couple of years that we would probably never have known. | ||||||

| This tour was exactly what we'd been looking for, only better. We enjoyed immensely not only the things we saw and were told about on the tour, but also the local color provided by our guide, based on his growing up in the area. | It was an overcast day; but, Rick certainly brightened our experience! He knows the neighborhood in which he grew up, and his stories were really good. We took the morning tour of Park Slope including Prospect Park; stopped for pizza in Brooklyn; then, on our own, we headed to Coney Island for a hot dog at Nathan's. Rick even told us how to order the Nathan's french fries in a bag with salt. If you like to walk in the upscale Park Slope neighborhood, don't miss Rick's tour! He knows the place. | ||||||

| Big Rick guided my friend and me throught the most interesting part in Park Slope. His knowledge and good humor made this tour special. I would highly recommend it. | Very enjoyable walking tour of the Park Slope region of Brooklyn. The tour guide, Rick, was a local and very knowledgeable in the history of the area. It was definitely the best $30 I have spent in New York in a long time. Trip is capped off by a good slice of Brooklyn pizza! | ||||||

| Since none of us had ever been to Brooklyn, we found this a wonderful way to have a "taste" of the borough. We thoroughly enjoyed the information on the architect of the buildings as well as the personal additions from Rick. The slice of pizza at the end was a fine treat as we have heard that brooklyn is known for it's top notch pizza !!! | ||||||

| We are from Argentina and have been many times in NY. With this tour we learned that NY is much more than Manhattan. We discovered a beautiful neigborhood full of history, quiet and peace. Our guide really seemed to know every inch of the area. We usually travel by ourselves, but we would never have got to see what we saw if we had not taken this tour. We highly recommend it to everybody that likes to learn and discover something new on every trip. | ||||||
