Yes, it was a 10:30pm tour, I was tired. But our guide was just a bit too layed back. I understood and accepted that this tour was intended for adults only. But this ADULT dislikes the use of the "F" word. Which seemed to be a staple in our guides language. We walked alot, he talked some, what little info we got was interesting. I am sure the guy really does love the Charleston history. The Group started with 8 people ended with 4, people kept disappearing, AND I do not think it was supernatural in nature..

Lane was a great guide. He knew so much more about the area and the history of the sites that we visited than I could have ever expected. His storytelling was superb. Thanks for a great tour!

The tour was great and very imformative. I actually learned more about Charleston's history on this tour than I did on the bus tour. Our tour guide, Lane, was excellent and had a real passion for the history and storytelling. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

| our tour guide was talking in an extremely hard to pick up local dialect. I could barely understand what he was trying to say. After my feedback to him he did not change a bit. So it was disappointing in the end.

The story teller had some good stories in great detail in which he told. The tour was long ,so a short break of coffee in the winter or cool drink in the sumer would be nice half way through. Live reenactment would be a great benefit and we thougth we might see this due to the picture advertised on the internet descibing the tour.

Go on it, even if it's your first tour in the area. It provides an interesting twist to the local Charleston history I've heard. Also, the tour guides are very flexible and will tell unplanned stories and take unplanned detours according to the specific interests of the participants.

The tour was enjoyable. Our guide Lane was obviously very knowledgeable in Charleston history, and could answer any question asked, but the tour itself seemed a bit meandering. Still I'm a history and crime buff so I enjoyed the overall tour. My biggest reccomendation is to tell Lane to leave the "dip" behind so he isn't spitting into a cup during the tour, and will be more understandable when he speaks.

Interesting history for my friend who was visiting Charleston from England for the first time. It was good, but I was hoping to learn something new.

The tour was very informative and educational in that it provided a different perspective of history. I would recommend it only after a general historic tour of Charleston. It is not for general entertainment and some of the details can be rather gruesome.
