| We expected a broader range of dark tales, i.e. murder and other crimes, not a 90 minute lecture on prostitution. Our guide, Lindsey, was more interested in hearing herself talk and lingered much too long at each site. We got the point and she just continued to ramble on, trying to embellish the story with her own experiences that had very little to do with anything. The language and material were not problematic as our kids are 17, however, her style was annoying. My husband felt as if she did not present enough tales to fill up a 90 minute tour. Frankly we were all quite bored. |

| The tour was interesting but our tourguide was no, he was odd and behaved strangely. I would not recommend this tour to be your 1st tour, if you have not been to Charleston before or if you have not taken any other tours about Charleston. |

| Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and it was thrilling to walk around the city at night and hear the stories he had to tell. Some of the descriptions on the website of "what you will hear" weren't covered at all but it was obvious that the information could be gotten by a little prodding (i.e. ask questions!). If you like an interactive tour that has you darting around in alleyways at night this is a good one. |

| I've come to Charleston several times to visit family that lives there, but this was the best tour we've ever taken! It truly provides an interesting view of the past that is completely overshadowed in other tours. This is a great tour for anyone who has gone on (or plans to go on) other tours because it isn't the same thing you hear every time. The walk was very easy, the tour guide was fantastic, and the information was fascinating. You will love every minute of it!

| Entertaining way to get to know some of the darker side of Charleston's history. Our tour guide was a great storyteller, and had tons of energy. She showed us some interesting spots and told us some wonderful tales of some of the interesting characters from Charleston's past. |

| I had taken this tour once before with my husband. We really enjoyed the stories. So when my mother and I were going to Charleston I knew that I wanted to take her on this tour. The tour was good but there were many stories that I didn't hear this trip. The last tour guide had a booklet of photos to show and more in depth stories. This trip the stories seemed like they were missing something. And he only told half of what I had gotten on the last trip. My mother was a little disappointed because I had raved about it before. She was expecting more too. I ended up filling in where the tour guide left off. Overall, I would recommend this tour. It could have been the guide that we got. I would go at least one more time. |

| I was there with my 19 year old daughter on our annual mother/daughter vacation and she wanted to do this tour, although we weren't sure what to expect. This is a history tour and not a ghost tour, and my daughter and I BOTH enjoyed it. Our guide had an accent and was difficult to understand at times, but he was a great story teller and had the perfect personality for this tour. We learned A LOT on this tour and would definitely recommend it to others. |

| Our tour guide was very Knowledgeable and approachable He was able to anser our questions and always added his take on the stories he was telling He reallyt did a great job and we enjoyed the walking tour very much and would recommend it again I didn't get our tour guide' s name But he was young with dark hair and was from North Carolina HE WAS GREAT!!!!!!!!!! |
