The Charleston Ghost and Dungeon Tour

The guide we had really enjoyed his job. You could tell that he loved and believed every word that he said. Each story was detailed and passionate. He also had a deep knowledge of the area, both historical and mythical. The walk was entertaining, informational and slightly creepy. I would go again. The dungeon was awesome. The craftmanship of the building is incredible and worth the trip. Besides, knowing that the Patriots that fought for our country were housed as prisoners there and likely tortured in the squallor makes it that much more haunting.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the local history. Awesome stories!! Very friendly guide. We all enjoyed our tour.

Overall was an enjoyable tour. The dungeons were intriguing and enjoyed the sights on location. Our guide was very knowledgeable but she spoke as if she was a recording. Because of this, it made it difficult to follow and it was less personal Would still do another tour.

This tour was a great chance to get an inside look at the history of this beautiful city!

Our dungeon tour was great. Our tour guide, Braxton, told great stories that were fun, scary, and had a little bit of history. Our group had a number of younger kids so he kept the stories appropriate for their ages. The dungeon itself was more than a little creepy. It began to rain during our tour and Braxton made some changes to keep us slightly drier. The tour didn't suffer because of the changes. We'd definitely do this again.

We walked and walked between "locations" and the guide did not provide any banter or additional information during the walk between locations. The stories were ok when we finally got somewhere but even upon prompting, the guide just answered without providing any additional details. (example... he mentioned the circular church, my date asked if there was a mother and baby buried there, he said no it was another church but didn't give any of the details.) There is so much history in Charleston around every corner and even had the guide pointed out some of the historic buildings or given us a name of a building or something that happened there it might have broken up the long walk. It was so bad that my date and I actually broke off from the tour before the last story because the guide was turning away from our hotel. Seriously, I'm not normally a complainer and I wouldn't have even complained this time had you not asked me for my feedback. But the tour was very disappointing.

we had a WONDERFUL tour guide. the dungeon was not quite as spooky as we had hoped, but all in all it was an interesting and fun time!!! I would recommend it to others!
