Our tour guide, Susan, was enthusiastic with her story telling. We stopped at several different spots to learn about the ghosts of Charleston and why they might still be haunting the area. The best part of the tour was seeing the inside of the Dungeon. |

Our group contained three families with ages ranging from eight to fifty years old. All of us had a great time. It was spooky enough for the teenage boys but not too spooky for the younger girls. We booked on-line and paid on-line but we added notes to keep the three families together, which we were. We plan to do the Jail Tour next time. |

Our tour guide Tad was very enthusiastic and funny. Our group included children aged 6, 10, and 11 and they loved it, but there was a young girl in the tourgroup (not with us) who got upset by some of the stories... so it's touch and go about whether kids should go. It was a fantastic tour and super fun!! A lot of walking but worth it! |

We loved walking through the streets of Charleston and learning it's history from the "other side". The characters and events were entertaining and enjoyable. We loved the tour of the dungeon, and wished we could have toured the jail as well. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone. |

I enjoyed the trip, however I wish we would have had a little more picture taking time.
I tour guide David was great, but a little long winded and seemed to have made some stories less interesting they ought the be.
If I had to recommend this tour to anyone. My recommendation would be to go ahead book yourself. This is a great tour with lots of interesting twists and stories. Please take your time taking pictures. I know I did and my group managed to catch some wild photos of unexplained orbs, black mists, and a yellowish figure in the Dungeon. |

This was our second ghost tour in Charleston. We had such a great time on the first that we had to do it again. The first tour was with a company who doesn't have access to go inside some of the places so we decided that we would use Bulldog tours for that reason. We had high hopes for the Dungeon, but were greatly disappointed. During this tour we heard basically the same stories as the first ghost tour we went on which was quite frustrating....there has got to be more that 5 ghost stories for all of Charleston!! Our tour guide was quite unenthusiastic and seemed like she couldn't wait until it was over so that she could head home. During a couple of the stories I wanted to jump in and add information that we heard on the tour we took with the other company. I would just say to people undecided on whether or not to take a ghost tour of Charleston, Do It!!!!!!!!! It is an awesome history lesson on an amazing city and there are some downright creepy things going on. I just would consider other companies because the tour guide is everything and ours was really not good! |

We were a small group and it was the perfect night for a ghost tour; the full moon adding to the spookiness! Our guide Tyler was very engaging and related the stories with great spirit. I had done the Ghost and Graveyard, the Haunted Jail and the Dark Side of Charleston tours before. I enjoyed the Ghost and Dungeon tour the most. The only thing that I felt was less than perfect was that there was one story that I heard on 3 of the tours and each time, I got a slightly different version. I think there should be some coordination among the tour guides so they all stick to the same version of the story. |

My family, yes...even my fifteen-year-old daughter, enjoyed our first ghost tour! Susan was very knowledgeable about the history of all of the ghost stories that she shared with our group. My husband and I especially liked how she included our nine-year-old son. He was the youngest member of our group and she allowed him to carry the meter. She made him feel just as important as all of the adults and she made sure that he wasn't scared by the ghost stories...she let him know that although they are true stories...they are also history. My daughter and I both have digital pictures of orbs throughout several spots on our tour...how cool!
As a family, we have already agreed that when we return to Charleston...we will be returning to Bulldog Tours for the jail tour next! |

Barbra was our guide and she was fantastic. She took an interest in the group, told great stories and what to look for. She would look at our digital photos to see if we had something. I felt like she was having as much of a good time as we were. I do wish the time in the dungeon was longer or we could see more of the dungeon. I will do this tour again. |
