We heard a total of four stories. None of them were particularly creepy. She was extremely dramatic and it ruined the effect of the stories. She said in the beginning that the emphasis was more on stories instead of ghosts, however, that is not how the tour was advertised. I have been on ghost tours before and I felt that Bulldog's tour was silly in comparison. We did not get what we paid for.

Our guide Grayson was friendly, entertaining, and informative. Would like to have spent more time inside the dungeons and thought the adventure was going to be scary. It was entertaining and a good way to spend our evening.

This was a nice walk around Charleston with some scary tales thrown in. Our tour guide, Susan, was a lot of fun and did a great job telling stories. The dungeon was very cool. If you like creepy stuff, I'd highly recommend this.

The presentation of the content was poor. The guide was not enthusiastic. It was a beautiful night for a walk through the city and we were disappointed with the guide and his ability to keep the group interested in the ghost story. We got the impression he was just getting through the next hour and half as fast as he can so he can get home. Would not reccommend this tour.

We had a very good time on this tour. The tour guide was well informed and presented the tour in a very entertaining way. Next time we're in Charleston SC we will try other tours that Bulldog has.

Although we visit Charleston several times a year and have been on ghost tours before, this tour was a special treat because it fell on Halloween...everyone was dressed up for the holiday and the city was filled with thrills, chills, and laughter...we got to visit different sites and our guide was very knowledgeable...lots of fun...make a reservation prior to arrival for a Saturday.

Group of Friends |
We were enthusiastic at first, however there were many groups touring at the same time and our guide had to keep changing his schedule, his stories became quite lengthy and repetative possibly to avoid the other groups. If there were perhaps some props (actors) to support the stories it may have been more believable and captivating, as it was I would not reccomend this tour to others. I would rather have spent my $72 elsewhere.

It was a typical ghost tour: local history mixed with stories of supernatural experiences. Wasn't bad, wasn't utterly fantastic.

we were rushed along only to wait on other groups then rushed out for other groups i felt like they were just trying to meet a quota. the guides are ok they tell some unbelieveable personal stories that has happened to them everywhere they have been. i enjoyed seeing the old dungeon and the history of it but i would prefer a smaller group and not have to be on a tight schedule.

The tour groups are much much too large for any sense of "spookiness." There were nearly twenty people in our group, and I don't think there should have been more than four or five. Most of the time we were simply walking around downtown in a herd, with very little time for actual storytelling or exploring. If the group were smaller, we would be able to chat with our tour guide in between stops, but instead it was just follow the leader. Our tour leader spoke as if she was reading a script with very little personality, and only a few bad jokes that sounded as if she'd told them a hundred times before. We did hear some interesting stories we hadn't heard before, but I definitely didn't get a single chill up my spine.
