The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very good in her presentation. She was also very attentive to questions and one on one conversation. This tour was very good and we are going to take the other tours thanks to our tour guide and her professionalism.

Fun but too much story telling

The tour was fun in that we got to spend 15 minutes in the dungeon and then listened to four ghost stories, told by the guide in front of each sight: city hall, a church, a restaurant, a parking lot. That is all the hour and a half tour included, and while it was fun, it was not worth the $18. Also, according to other tourists it seems that the city hall is more haunted than the dungeon, so you can save $18 and visit city hall, which is free; or buy an $18 ghost story book.

Let me begin by saying the tour guide was magnificent! She was enthusiastic and funny, and without her the tour would have dragged. It was interesting, but I would hope the information given in the Dungeon (day v/s night) would mesh better with each other. Folktales were portrayed as fact in one or two instances, and (being a teacher) I fret over misinformation being spread! If we went in some more buildings, not just the Dungeon, it would have been more interesting. Walking by cemetary without a story? That was lacking!

My husband and I have lived here for about a year. While his parents were here visiting last weekend, they wanted to go on a ghost walk. We hadn't ever been either so we went. In short, it was a huge waste of time and money! The guide was obnixious. It seemed like she made up over half of what she was saying on the spot and that she just liked to hear herself talk. We only went to four places in the whole hour and a half. A ridiculous waste of $100.

The guide was nice, and informative, but we only visited 3 places, and the only one of any real interest was the dungeon. We have taken several ghost tours in other cities and this one would be at the bottom of the list.

This tour has alot of potential. It could use more stories and more points to tour. The tour guide that we had was very audible and articulate. We felt that for the money we paid, however, we had more walking and less talking.

Very informative tour and I would recommend this to my friends who visit Charleston in the future. I plan to go on the Jail Tour next time I'm in town. Our guide was very informative and told many stories, as well as the historical facts of the buildings.
