Barbra was our guide and she was fantastic. She took an interest in the group, told great stories and what to look for. She would look at our digital photos to see if we had something. I felt like she was having as much of a good time as we were. I do wish the time in the dungeon was longer or we could see more of the dungeon. I will do this tour again. |

It was a waste of money. Our tour guide was a very nice girl but she was not a very good guide. Way too "hokey". She would be a good giude for children but not adults. The tour was not scary in the least and should be a childrens' tour in the future. You could get these stories from any local on the street. |

Definitely worthwhile just for the dungeon! |

Our tour guide was great. I would recommend wearing good walking shoes as the cobblestone streets can be a little rough! The dungeon and cemetary at St. Michael were very creepy. This tour will send shivers up your spine! |

Our tour guide Susan B. (I think) was very knowledgeable but didn't keep us interested. The dungeon was the first place we went but it was more or less just a cellar, nothing spooky about it! After that we continued on down the street with more ghost stories. Although Susan knew the history she was boring so we ended up skipping out on the last half. |

The group consisted of about 20 people. The tour began promptly at 7:00. The first sight we visited was the dungeon. We were given a brief history of some of the pirates that were captured in Charleston. Later, we took a walking tour to various buildings in the area and a graveyard. The most memorable story was about the young girl who died two days before her wedding. The guide told several stories about different people. |

guide was excellent...provost dungeon kind of a waste of time.....figures should at least move or dungeon should act as a real haunted dungeon.

The Dungeon tour is not offered by Bulldog Tours on Sunday or Monday yet I was able to sign up for a Monday on-line. Bulldog called switched us to the Jail Tour for Monday. After we arrived in Charleston we stopped by Bulldog Tours and we were able to take the Dungeon Tour Saturday evening. Would have much preferred to know up front that the tour was not offered on the day we selected on-line.
The tour was interesting. The tour guide was informative and told some good ghost stories. It was a fun and informative toour.

Our family of four recently visited Charleston and went on the Ghost and Dungeon tour. Our tour guide was David, who grew up and Charleston and was very knowledgeable of Charleston history. He provided lots of facts related to Charleston and lead to many tales of the Ghosts of Charleston. The tour was just great. My husband and I, as well as our children, ages 8 and 14, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it.
Many thanks to David, who managed to teach us a bit, while entertaining and showing us a great time!

Our guide's name was Eric, and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the history of the area, and very entertaining. He told great ghost stories, and answered every question we had. I have been on many ghost walks, in Gettysberg, Savannah, etc., and this one ranks in the top 3. We didn't want it to end!!!!
Sincerely,
