| We had a blast on the tour, the guide, the stories, just being out in the fall air, it was great. My only complaint is, there was a young couple, around 20, I would think and they were all over each other. There was a small child in the group with her parents and these two young people were kissing and touching in a manner that would be uncomfortable for anyone must less a family with a small child to be around. The guide never asked them to stop or said one thing to them. Others on the tour did but not the guide. I felt it was his place to handle the situation. That was my only problem, besides that we had a lot of fun! |

| My friend and I decided to take this tour as a Halloween treat to ourselves. We went down into the dungeon, and were not disappointed. Although we did not see any "aparitions" we did see some moving chains, and felt some very eerie things. When we got home, my camera was filled with orbs from that place. The only thing I can say that was a disappointment to me, was that this tour was not longer with more stops, but hey, you gotta quit sometime, right!? |

| The tour that we took on Oct, 25 2007 was such a disappointment. The tour was boring, the guide seemed rushed to get it over with. The information or stories as it were lacked anything that would have made them the least little bit believeable or interesting.
As if that wasn't enough .... at the end of the tour the guide just left us on a corner and kinda pointed us back to Market Street..... she then crossed the street and disappeared....if we had been from out of town this would have been a problem. |

| My husband and I took the Ghost and Dungeon tour and were slightly disappointed. We were expecting to get spooked but it was more of an historical tour. I would recommend it as an historical tour but not a ghost tour. Our guide was a very good story teller but didn't tell us many ghost stories that were relevant to the spots we visited. The dungeon was really cool except also not spooky and we spent less than 10 minutes there.
All in all, I would recommend Bulldog Tours for the main reason that the staff is friendly, knowledgable and well spoken, but I wish we had chosen their other ghost tour for a haunting experience. I guess it just depends on what you're looking for. But now we know. |

| We were all very excited to go on the Dungeon walking ghost tour in Charleston. We got there and the lady slaughtered my name in a rude way and we got broken down into smaller groups. In our group was one younger adult female that was video taping the walk. That was OK, but she was chewing tobacco and every 15 seconds she would spit it and it was loud enough to break the mood for all in the group. We walked very fast to the dungeon being we were the first group out and we walked in. Seemed to me that there should have been a little build up to get people in the mood a little, a story or two prior. During the story we were getting in the dungeon, a lot of noise was heard upsatirs in the building, when asked the guard said it was the caterers bringing their equipment in for a function that evening. Between that and the spitting .. ruined. Then we went on the walking tour. A few good stories were shared and this would have been beneficial prior to the dungeon tour, but I understand. It is a problem that as the guide is speaking, telling a good story on a person that died that might be haunting the area, the bar next to us playing Margaritaville ... mood killer, added on top of that the load spitting. The guide did the best she could, but at times it was very difficult to hear her. I have been on business tours where you wear a headset and you can hear the guide. Overall expereince was OK, alot of factors outside of the tour companies control, but I would not recomend that tour. I would however try another tour from Bulldog, perhaps the graveyard tour, if it is longer than I remember it being and if it is out of the way a little so you can get the right "feeling". Lastly, we were disappointed that we could not buy a tee shirt or sweatshirt with the "Ghost Tour" on it. My kids were looking forward to one of those. |

| The tour is not what I expected. The stories were lack luster (they are stories.....embellish!!! Who will know the difference?) and I got nothing from hearing them on a busy corner or a parking lot. I walked away thinking that i just took this walk during the day and saw the same things. I wanted creepy, goose bump stories that are down dark side streets that a tourist wouldn't normally go. When it was done, I felt that i wasted the night and my money. |

| The tour was alright but it was basically the same information you could read in a book in any store. Other than the stories, you just walked around the streets of Charleston and the tour guide pointed out certain things and that was about it. Our tour guide did not even tell stories relevant to the location we were at and constantly bragged about how good of a tour guide she was - which she was not. So, overall, I do not recommend this tour at all. |

| The guide offered good historical information but of the 3 or 4 stories, I would only consider 1 of them a "ghost" story. I would have enjoyed it more had we been shown landmarks, then told about accounts that others have given in relation to ghost/"spirit "sightings. |

| I thought the tour was not impressive . It was long winded and dull. Charleston is a wonderful city, with many ghost tales, and to be bored on a ghost tour was not what I or my group expected.

| We enjoyed the tour very much and the story teller did a very good job at describing events and happenings in the area and places supposedly haunted. However, we had expected to see more of the dungeon than just the one little room.... surely there was more since that was the only place the town kept criminals. Even so, it was very enjoyable and I would recommend it to friends but would tell them not to expect too much of a "tour" of the dungeon. |
