The Charleston Ghost and Dungeon Tour

We enjoyed our tour with the "Science Teacher". He was very personable and knowledgeable.

We were on a girls weekend and after an early dinner we took the 9:00pm tour. Our tour guide, Franny, was enthusiastic, fun and knew her history! The tour group was just the right size. It was a great ending to our evening! I recommend it highly!

We had a good time and gained much knowledge of the local "spirits". Worth the price of the adventure. Suggest smaller groups; there were 20 in our tour. More emphasis in tour description about uneven surfaces and the need for proper footwear. Frannie was exceptional sharing her experiences and general knowledge of the area.

The presentation of the content was poor. The guide was not enthusiastic. It was a beautiful night for a walk through the city and we were disappointed with the guide and his ability to keep the group interested in the ghost story. We got the impression he was just getting through the next hour and half as fast as he can so he can get home. Would not reccommend this tour.

We had a very good time on this tour. The tour guide was well informed and presented the tour in a very entertaining way. Next time we're in Charleston SC we will try other tours that Bulldog has.

The tour groups are much much too large for any sense of "spookiness." There were nearly twenty people in our group, and I don't think there should have been more than four or five. Most of the time we were simply walking around downtown in a herd, with very little time for actual storytelling or exploring. If the group were smaller, we would be able to chat with our tour guide in between stops, but instead it was just follow the leader. Our tour leader spoke as if she was reading a script with very little personality, and only a few bad jokes that sounded as if she'd told them a hundred times before. We did hear some interesting stories we hadn't heard before, but I definitely didn't get a single chill up my spine.

I enjoyed the tour for its historical relevance.

The guide was wonderful... full of wonderful stories and excellent descriptions of everything we went to see. Pace was comfortable, as well. We didn't feel rushed nor did we feel like it moved too slowly.

Very Interesting, typical ghost walk tour, it was great going inside the dungeon and not just walking past it listening to a story. The disappointment was that there is several places such as the jail that they don't take you to because it is a separate tour. But other than that, it was informative and I believe I did capture a picture of a pirate ghost.

This was not the best or the worst ghost tour we've done. Guide was not near as enthusiastic as others, but the dungeons were neat.
