The tour needs more spook
Thu, Aug 23, 07   9:00 PM cheftell123 Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Other
It is considered a ghost & dungeon tour, but 1/2 of us fell asleep by the end. I guess I wanted more ghosts and a spookier tour. I should have booked the adult (rated R) tour for our group. Also it is unfair not to reimburse for extra tickets. You made $36 on our group, due to changed travel plans. I hope you tipped the guide for us! Thanks

My husband and I had a great time touring with your company. We not only heard some great ghost stories but we also learned alot about the history of Charleston. Your company will come highly reccommended by us. Thanks for the great experience.

I went with my teenagers a group of 5 teens and me. I figured we would not see a ghost but the whole thing was boring. The teenagers lost interest in the stories. I do not fault the guide he was very nice but the kids were not interested.

A good time but a bit long winded
Sat, Aug 11, 07   9:00 PM jenn04 Female 30-39 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
Myself, my husband, my mom and our 11 and 5 year old all took the 9pm Sat. tour. The tour started 10 minutes late. There is quite a bit of walking - but we knew this ahead of time and wore appropriate shoes. It was very very very hot and humid out. So much so that 20 min. + talks we were given, in front of the dungeon, in the dungeon, in front of the graveyard and then again in front of another building seemed a bit long winded. We were uncomfortable standing for such a long period of time and it was difficult to cont. to pay attn. The talks/stories were very interesting and we loved our guides true southern accent and style. We were a little disappointed we did not go into more than just the dungeon, I thought we would but perhaps I read that wrong. Tip: Bring an umbrella, it started pouring towards the end and like they say, they do cont. on and of course you want to get your moneys worth. Also, I would highly recommend bug spray, did not see that tip until we got there and it was on the brosure. We all got bitten and my poor daughter who chose to sit on the concrete during the long talks was bitten very badly by fire ants. Not sure the bug spray would have helped that - so don't let the kids sit down! It was not scarry for them but they do have a high thresh hold for that sort of thing. It was fun and something I would try again.

I was under the impression it was going to be more involved. it was really a history lesson as opposed to a true ghost tour. the tour guide was good given what he had to work with.

Greatly enjoyed Charleston Ghost Tour

We thoroughly enjoyed our Charleston Ghost and Dungeon Tour. It was everything we hoped it would be--spooky but fun. Visiting the dungeon was a highlight for the family and our tour guide was exceptionally talented at making it creepy. We enjoyed his presentations throughout the entire tour! He provided personalized stories and really got into the story telling. My kids were mesmerized.
