| The tour was a walking tour that went into the basement of the Exchange Building and to three other sites above ground around town. A good mile or so of walking in traffic on city streets. Knowledgible guide, I enjoyed the tour and stories. |

| We enjoyed the stories when you could hear them over all the other tours going on around you and normal hustle bustle on the streets. We were under the impression that you had a graveyard tour..when actually you stood outside of one in the street and they told you stories of the graveyard. Very informative, just not what we were expecting. |

| I so enjoyed the jail tour I just assumed the dungeon was as good. Not so. You had so many groups going in and out we wasted 1/2 hour outside the dungeon waiting to get in and hearing random long winded stories. It was hot. Very poor planning. Then spent about 10 minutes in the dungeon that looked way too tourist-y inside, followed by more random long winded stories. The tour amounted to standing in one spot for very long periods of time to hear non connecting tales. It wasn't just me, at the end of the tour we ended up by the church cemetary and a few women commented about the photographer in the graveyard story could have been told in 5 minutes. If you're looking to promote more diverse tours you should come up with something better than the dungeon tour. I thought the tourguide told us it would be 16 blocks about a mile. I don't think we walked more that 8-10. I don't blame her, she lost most of our attention after the dungeon. On a positive note, I did learn one new thing, the story behind the movie "The Patriot." |

Would never reccommend to a friend. Waste of $$$

| The "dungeon" was interesting, but you can tour it during the day as a museum for about $6. The stories were not interesting, and this tour does not involve any stops at actual haunted areas. We stopped and sat by the water while the guide told a couple tales about the bridge and we stopped in an alley for a couple more. I hardly even remember his stories.
Additionally, with how much business Bulldog tours brings "the dungeon" they need to do something about the way it is presented. There were catering carts with leftover food and dirty plates blocking the entrance to the dungeon (it's basically a basement) and there were stacks of junk with sheets thrown over them in the hallway leading to the dungeon. Ridiculous....
In the end, you should definately visit the museum during the day, especially since it's one of only two places that you can see part of the original city wall. But do not even consider this tour!!! |

| We took the Ghost and Dungeon tour. My 9 year old daughter really enjoyed it. No "jumpy out" parts just cool ghost stories and of course a tour of the dungeon. Our tour guide was excellent as she walked us through the alleys of Charleston. Defintely go on the 9:00 tour when it is dark and luckily we had a full moon to boot. |

| This tour was not what it was made out to be. We walked through one "dungeon" which was nothing more than a open basement with little stations set up with mannequins dressed in period clothing . We excpected it to be a lot bigger and more dungeon like. We spent most of the 90 min. tour walking through the streets of Charleston listening to stories about other haunted areas around the area. Our tour guide was excellent. We would suggest you save your money and go on the tour of the old jail. |

| the ghost tour was fun and the stories were interesting but if you are looking to be spooked then you might want to do something else. I went going in with the idea of hearing history about the city and seeing some of the sites at night and thats what it was. Fun but not scary. |

| 'Larry' the tour guide is very knowledgeable and is a great tale teller. I recommend that this tour be taken at night if you like to be spooked. Visiting grave yards and haunting tales at night is all part of what makes this tour enjoyable. You get a lot of history too...
Don't expect to see Casper but I wouldn't be so quick to say you don't believe in spirits after this tour. |
