The Charleston Ghost and Dungeon Tour

We had a good time and gained much knowledge of the local "spirits". Worth the price of the adventure. Suggest smaller groups; there were 20 in our tour. More emphasis in tour description about uneven surfaces and the need for proper footwear. Frannie was exceptional sharing her experiences and general knowledge of the area.

We had a great time on this tour. The tour guide was excellent with wonderful stories and great enthusiasm. The only thing we didn't like was the pace we moved... a little too quick to enjoy. Seemed like we had to speed through the dungeon so quick it was hard to even takes pics. Other than that it was wonderful. We will definitely be doing another tour in the future with your company. It was alot of fun!

More of a historic tour - tour guide was great!

Perhaps it was our guide - who, though enthusiastic, provided more information for us about how to hunt spirits on our own and his personal experiences with the paranormal or with working with paranormalists than information about haunted Charleston. It seemed that our stops along the way to the dungeon were to pass time as opposed to acquaint us with stories about that particular location. Yet, from the sound of it - there might have been a dozen locations along the way to the dungeon with plenty of ghost stories. We just didn't get to hear those stories. This tour was the biggest disappointment of our trip.

The presentation by our tour guide was enthusiastic and very informative. The adults and children (ages 11-14) all enjoyed the ghost stories and history that the tour guide provided. I thought the tour itself was an accurate amount of time (1 1/2 hrs). No one was bored and the stories were intriguing and captivating. So glad we did this tour.

If you are looking for a paranormal experience this is not the tour for you. However, if you are interested in a tour that provides information about interesting historical characters and interesting facts that you won't hear anywhere else then you will enjoy this tour. Our guide played up the spookiness for the 8-12 group which I am sure made it more fun for them as well. We found our guide to be knowledgable about Charleston history and in answering a variety of questions and enjoyed his presentation.

Ghost tour was enjoyable, however, we expected a little more "ghost history". Not as many ghost stories as we would have liked.

The tour was very interesting and amusing. The kids loved it and were not scared. Not an expensive tour and worth the little bit of money! Fun!

We brought my cousin who is especially interested in ghosts. The tour guide was great and really answered all of his questions and even told him extra stories that he found especially exciting. We may not have enjoyed the tour as much had it not been for my cousin's excitement. It's a great way to see the city in a different light and the stories do stick with you. The dungeon, however, was not as scary as I had hoped. It's well-lit and just feels like a museum. There's still something eery to it, but I was hoping for a little more...
