Great Historical Overview

This was a very fun, very interesting tour. Our guide was very strong with the historical details of Charleston. It was very helpful to have a good idea of other things that were happening in the country/world in relation to the particular ghost story we were hearing. The access to the dungeon and graveyard were, to our knowledge, exclusive and very interesting. Nothing quite like seeing these things in the dark of night. A very good time, and worth the small investment!

Ghost, Dungeon Tour Interesting, Informative

The tour provided our group with some specifics about three locales in downtown Charleston. As I recall it two of the three stops weren't particularly "ghostly'' in nature, as promo suggests. They did leave quite a bit to the imagination, though. We did go back to St. Phillips' Episcopal Church graveyard and found the burial places of Sue Hardy and her stillborn child. The photo shown by the tour guide made us want to explore the graveyard itself. Don't remember the guide's name - we went on the tour Tuesday evening, Oct. 30 - but she was quite good. .

This was my first trip to Charleston and I had an amazing time. The one thing I wanted to do while in Charleston was to take a "Ghost Tour". I really didn't know what to expect but thought it would be fun. Although we didn't see any ghosts - that we know of - the history and the guide we had were amazing. I have already been talking about doing another Bulldog Tour there soon. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service and the excellent tour guide - I will definitely recommend to many of my friends! MJ

Interesting Experience

Overall, I found this tour to be quite interesting. While I'm a Charlestonian, I never get to visit downtown, and have sadly never gone on a Ghost Tour before. The parking situation was terrible, but the tour made up for it. Our tour guide was fantastic... he was very personable and had a lot of knowledge about the area. He shared tons of amazing ghost stories with us, many of them personal experiences. He also shared some incredible photos with us. The visit to the dungeon was a tad creepy due to the story-telling and photo-sharing from our tour guide, but we managed to take some pretty interesting photos... including one with possible orbs (need to get developed to really tell). All in all, worth the price; definitely recommended.

We loved the dungeon!

The history and stories we heard on the tour were amazing! The dungeon was our favorite part of the tour. It was great seeing the original battery of Charleston. The tour guide had many pictures as well that were great examples of the spirits of Charleston. Another couple on the tour took a picture with their camera phone and we were able to see an image that wasn't originally there in the alley!

Dungeon tour

There were too many people on the tour, so it was hard to hear at times; one person on tour had cell phone that kept ringing and the tour guide did not ask him to turn it off; tour guide did not seem very sure of herself--her stories were a little confused.

An entertaining adventure with good story telling plus a little fact thrown in for good measure. Does require a lot of walking but worth it.

A Good Walk

A good walk and some stories is about all you will get. Went to Provost dungeon and didn't have any time to look around. Then went to cemetery but didn't get to go in. That was the Tour. The End.
