| This was a good tour but not as scary as I thought. I would market it as more of a historic tour and focus on the Patriot. We were looking for something along the lines of the walking tour or the jail tour. |

| I purchased two tickets through Zerve for a Charleston Bulldog Ghost & Dungeon Tour. The night we had scheduled to go it was pouring rain. Firstly, the venue did not sell umbrellas and the girl I spoke with did not know where to buy them either. Seeing as we did not have any umbrellas, nor did not have any desire to get soaked in the downpour, we inquired about a refund. She informed me that because I had purchased tickets through Zerve, an outside seller, I could not receive a refund. This seems confusing as the website leads you to Zerve to purchase the tickets so I had no reason to believe they were not affiliated with Bulldog Tours. Beyond this, the girls at the desk were not very helpful and did not seem to care if we went on their tour or not, and certainly did not seem bothered by the fact we were very unhappy with their company at this point. Also, I heard one of the ladies at the front desk instruct people later on as to where to go to get an umbrella! This would have been helpful if they would have told us this when we asked. If we would have had an umbrella, we would have been much more likely to go, seeing as we could not receive any sort of refund or compensation. The customer service is extremely lacking and, because of this, I cannot say that I can recommend Bulldog or Zerve to anyone else. We were excited to go on the Ghost & Dungeon Tour; however, disappointment soon overshadowed our enthusiasm. |

| The ghost and dungeon tour was very good. The guide was very knowlegdable However, since it was raining, I felt that the guide rushed the tour. Instead of the 90 minutes that was advertised it took about 60 minutes and we felt that we had run a marathon by the time we were finished. We would definitely take this tour again if we return to the area, but hopefully at a slower pace. |

| My family and I enjoyed our tour. The 90 minute tour went by quickly with just the right amout of standing and then walking. We enjoyed seeing and hearing about a different side of Charleston. |

| We enjoyed walking around the city, but the tour was not that great. Our tour guide thought he was really funny, but wasn't. |

| We have taken a couple of other tours with Bulldog and enjoyed them thoroughly.
This time, the "host" had us almost run to the first spot. I know that the sites are used by multiple groups BUT it was a little disconcerting! Once we got through the first building, everything was very enjoyable! The guide was very entertaining and very knowledgeable about the history of Charleston. The use of the photos was great!
On our next trip, we're looking forward to the haunted Jail tour! |

| We booked the Dungeon Tour hoping for a glimpse at the more mysical lure of Charleston. Ghost stories are an awesome genre. But, telling a ghost story effectively can be a challenge. Regretfully, I spent 90 minutes with a very poor storyteller. 2/3 of my group left. I tried to loosen the teller up with banter and encouragement--no success. She lost some stories half way through, generalized when she should have been specific, used the phrase "go ahead and..." repeatedly. For example, "The ghost came into the room and he decided to go ahead and leave." This verbal crutch showed up at least every fifth sentence. When one of my group members decided to leave I said to him, "You paid $18 to hear ghost stories...it's almost over." He replied, "I would pay twice as much to not have to suffer through this." Did we complain to Bulldog Tours? No. I tend to feel bad for people in her situation and simply went on my way. I suspect some storytellers with the company are quite good. My advice--call in advance and ask for a REALLY GOOD storyteller. They know the bad ones. You will too. They are detectable almost before they utter a word. Also, the dungeoun is more like someone's basement. Not awesome at all. |

| Our tour guide was great - very energetic and knowledgable. Our tour went longer than specified because our tour guide wanted to share more stories with us! It was a great value for our money. |
