| Second ghost walk I've been on - different stories from the last!! Fantastic journey through history, whether you see a ghost or not. Enjoyed the Provost Dungeon, in the dark, without all of the animatronics. |

| Having been on other ghost tours in cities like Savannah, my husband and I were super-excited about this tour in Charleston! We were, however, a little disapointed in the tour overall. We expected a lot of walking, a lot of great ghost stories, and a lot of fun. Instead, we only walked to a few places and the stories weren't that great. With so much rich history in Charleston, I know there has to be better!!! This tour is a fun thing to do for the novelty, but don't expect too much or you'll likely be disappointed. |

| I took a friend that was visiting from Charlotte, NC and my mother who is a native Charlestonian. We all found the tour very interesting. My mother was shocked at how much she learned about Charleston from the tour. I have taken a couple of your tours over the past couple of months and.....WOW!.....I too did not realized how much more there was to learn. Great job! |

| It was ok. I am glad we took the tour. We learned alot about Charleston history and places to visit when we come back. Our tour guide seemed to know what she was talking about and she was a great story teller and kept our kids attention they are 10 and 14 years of age. I would have liked to seen more of the dugeon though. |

| This was a great way to see Charleston in the evening. Hearing about the residents of the past and seeing the dungeon was very entertaining and a nice bit of unique history. I'd definitely recommend it! |

| our tour guide walked way too fast for everyone to keep up and it seemed like the majority of the tour was walking. we were only in the dungeon for 10 minutes. it was not worth the money. |

Most definitely a disappointment!

| Our group of 4 was 2 boys aged 13 and two adults age 45 &40. We paid $18 pp and it was a total waste of money and time! My son had wanted to go on the ghost tours for years, and this was his birthday gift. We are very familiar with the Charleston area and visit often. Never have I been more disaapointed with anything in the city over the past 25 years! The tour guide could not get to the point, and she was quick to tell us that there was no blood an gore--which was not expected. She jokingly said "You boys may want to leave now. This is a historical based tour!" Yes we went to the dungeon of the Exchange building...She told long winded date riddled stories that lost you in the first 10 minutes of meaningless words... you kept awaiting some tale of at least the folklore that is written about in abundance in the city. Never. You walk rapidly to TWO locations and she shows you the most probable faked photo of a ghost in the graveyard. Do not waste your money. Buy a book in one of the local stores about the ghosts of Charleston, and plot your own map! The tour is complete hype and false advertising---Bulldog tours should be called bullsh*t tours instead! "Quite clearly and with that in mind" (the guide said this at least 50 times or more!) THIS IS A RIPOFF! |

| I went on two other ghost tours besides this one: Ghosts & Graveyards and Haunted Jail tour. And of all three tours, this one was the best. The tour guide was a life-long Charleston resident by the name of Braxton, I believe. He was very knowledgeable and had kind of a laid back attitude about him, which I like since a lot of tour guides seem kind of stiff and uptight. He was a great storyteller as well. The dungeon was awesome. Braxton(?) let us wander around freely for a few minutes after telling us the history and some of the paranormal experiences that people have had there.
All in all, it was a GREAT tour! |
