Although friendly and charming, our tour guide was not the best of storytellers. He stumbled over some of the tales and once or twice gave away the ending before he meant to. Compared to previous tours I have taken in Charleston, this was was light on the ghost stories - left our group wanting more! I'd recommend the Dark Side of Charleston tour over this one. Much more info and great history!
Rating: 5 Historically fun and Actual Ghost Seen!

When we decided to take a ghost tour the last thing that my family thought we would do is capture an actual ghost image that we would be getting certified. However, all that fun aside, the local history and the stories behind the hauntings where great fun for the whole family. Nothing too scary so bring the children along and get them educated too!

The actual tour was a little slow for me because I had researched Charleston so thoroughly and already knew the significance and "story behind the building" that was being explained by the guide however with that said it was still very interesting to my friend that went with me who knew little about Charleston. What was awesome was actually visiting all these sites that I had only read about and watched videos of before. To actually be there to me was incredible! Then to download my pictures and see soooo many creepy distortions, orbs, and even an apparition at Poogan's Porch was something that has me so excited that I am going to Savannah next weekend and intend to take another ghost walk there. Suggestion...wear the most comfortable shoes you have and take extra batteries..
Rating: 5 It was lots of fun and I can't wait to do it again

I had so much fun doing the dungeon tour. The only thing I didn't like was the fake people. They made the dungeon look like it wasn't real, kind of like a ride at Disney. But the tour guide was really funny and told some really good stories. I was also glad we went to Poogan's Porch. I saw it on tv and read about it before. It was really scary and I think I saw a ghost there!

I really did not enjoy myself. I thought our guide did a good job with what he had, i guess. But, I would not recommend this to someone unless it was free. Just took us to 4 different spots and told us stories; i thought it was pretty cheezy
Rating: 4 Ghost tours are a must when you visit Charleston!

I really enjoyed the ghost tour of the dungeon. This is my 2nd ghost tour, and every time we learn a new story about both friendly and unfriendly ghosts. I believe that spirits have energy and it is interesting to hear the spirits that are around Charleston. It is a must if you are visiting Charleston!

The dungeon and ghost stories were interesting, nothing to get excited about.

Our ghost tour did not start until 9:05 pm. The lady who was our guide is a history buff. Although she told us alot of information, I felt like we really walked more than seeing things. The tour would have only lasted 60 minutes if we had not done extra walking.
Rating: 2 Cool locations that lacked ghost story focus...

The locations visited during the tour were very cool (especially the Dungeon) but the stories that accompanied the sites and the time spent at the Dungeon was very sub par. The tour guide did not share any good ghost stories. The time spent in the Dungeon needs to be longer with more emphasis put on the EVERY part of it instead of leaving certain corridors and turns out of the tour. May I suggest adding an after midnight tour as well when there is less traffic on the streets and you can really get the complete experience of the haunted history in Charleston. I am sure people my age (upper 20s) would definitely attend.

This tour provided interesting information about the history of Charleston. However, the stories and legends about ghosts were not very believable. The historical carriage rides are a better choice.
