| First off, our tour guide was great. She was fun and enthusiastic. However, 'The Dungeon' was a HUGE letdown. It is a small 30 x 30 foot brick room with fake dummies and rats all over the place. This is the 'money shot' and it fails to deliver. However, 'the filler' spots en route were more interesting than the dungeon as our guide gave us great stories. Though obviously embellished, they were interesting as they provided a small sliver of old Charleston culture. I keep hearing the Jail Tour is the one to take, but that one was all sold out. I cannot recommend this tour for someone looking for ghosts or a scare, but someone looking to pass 90 minutes on a rather easy walking tour, it may be worth your while. |

| I am from Charleston and had good friends with their children visiting from Kansas City, Missouri. We all found our tour guide to be entertaining, pleasant, and informative. It was a great walk through some areas I had not been through myself.
The children in particular enjoyed the dungeon part of the tour.
I would use this tour group again to entertain out of town guests. |

| The tour guide was informative and did a nice job presenting the stories associated with each stop. The tour itself involved only four stops accompanied by a brief story and some history.
One reason I chose this package was the highly touted special access to the dungeon. Thinking this was some sort of special privilege associated with this tour, I was disappointed to find that the dungeon is open to the public and available for touring throughout the day as part of other tours.
Considering that the entire tour consists of locations that you can walk to and explore on your own without paying for a guide, you may be better served purchasing a book about Charleston ghosts and seeking out the locations on your own. |

| we enjoyed the tour, the guide was very knowledgeable.
the only downside (i've been on a few ghost tours) is that we felt the tour was rushed, as opposed to other ghost walks that were ambling, and the delivery of some of the stories of hauntings did not feel eerie (psychologically), just rattled off too quickly more as a narrative, and not atmospheric story-telling as we're used to hearing them. we expected more than a quick peek in the dungeon. but we did enjoy it nevertheless and would recommend it. |

| The description states a tour of graveyards yet we were only bystanders looking in through the gates..... Our tour guide did a good job but sounded as if he were reading a speech for most of the tour. You could tell it was memorized. I'm sure it's hard not to sound that way after doing it 3000+ times, but it kind of took the anticipation out of it!
They should space out all their tours more so they aren't overlapping so much. We were having to wait for a previous tour to finish so we could move on. It caused distraction.
Keep in mind that there are a million distractions going on around that are not controllable so it kind of ruins the "mood".
Not scary at all. We were not impressed. We paid $68 for 4 people and it was NOT worth it. Not even worth half the price. |

| I thought the tour was not impressive . It was long winded and dull. Charleston is a wonderful city, with many ghost tales, and to be bored on a ghost tour was not what I or my group expected.

| The tour guide rambled on and on without a destination in site. Her stories didn't make a lot of sense and simply weren't interesting, and certainly not scary. My 12 year old grandson LOVES scary things, thus the tours, but he thought she was boring and refused to go on the graveyard tour. |
