| We took the graveyard tour last Friday night. We have 2 college age children and thought wow what a great activity for our family. I chose the 9:30 tour thinking maybe it would be scarier. Well after dark and all. We were bored to tears. We would have left but did not want to be that rude so we stuck it out. We all thought we would be in and out of graveyards, giving our tour was 90 minutes. Eventually we did go in to graveyard but not until the VERY END of the tour. Getting to that graveyard was down right painful. We stopped at one point in front of a parking garage to hear a story about the pirates and the harbor? Why not go to the water? Talk about lack of ambiance. Then we stopped at the court house to hear a story about the jailhouse? Why not go to the jailhouse? Was that suppose to be a tease to go on the jailhouse tour? Al was a nice guy but to be honest not a story teller. Far more giggles than fright from our guide. Giggles on a ghost tour??? To Al's benefit I later wondered if it was because we had several young children on our tour that he might have toned it down.
An idea: How about 2 separate tours. One for families with younger children and a second tour for adults and families with high school and older children during your busy season.
Our whole family decided we could and should have skipped this part of our mini vacation to Charleston. :-( |

| We had friends visiting from out of town and decided to take them on this tour since we had taken it before and really enjoyed it. If you think you are going to SEE an actual ghost then you might as well stay at home. The chances are slim. However if you are up to seeing the places that ghost have been sighted and listening to some of the history of this wonderful city then this is the tour for you. You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of a ghostly figure. Don't forget your camera. Our tour guide (sorry can't remember his name) was very knowledgeable. He had a great sense of humor and was really patient with the younger children (although I was really to strangle them) and did his best to keep everyone entertained. He also provided actual pictures of some unexplained figures and had personal stories to tell as well. |

| I found the tour to be more about the history of Charleston than anything else. Although the historic tales are very interesting, there are better tours that provide much more detail about the beautiful city of Charleston. Our tour guide was very enthusicastic, and it's easy to see that she enjoys her job and loves the city of Charleston. If you're looking for tours of haunted places, look somewhere else. If you are interested in a bit of Charleston history and a few ghost stories, this tour could be for you. |

| The tour was very informative and historical. I would recommend this tour to anyone in the area who enjoys learning about the history of Charleston. The only down side was dealing with intoxicated people in the downtown area who thought it would be fun to taunt the groups on tour (our tour guide handled the situation very well). |

| I enjoyed our tour. The information provided and the sites we visited were unique places that I wouldn't have experienced otherwise. In addition, the guide (Braxton) mentioned other places that we later visited. He was wonderful! I would highly recommend this to other people visiting the area! |
