The Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Tour

I thought I was just going on a ghost tour but i actually got alot of history out of this tour. I really enjoyed everything about ti!

This attraction was very informational. Not very spooky though. The best i found was on my camera with a couple of pictures of the old powder mill. I caught the shades open in 2 pictures then closed in the next, all taken within about 1 minute of each other.

The tour guide made us feel like it was a chore to give us the tour. Every tour we went on from Bulldog tours had the same information and was bland by the end of the weekend.

I would love the opportunity to go to all the ghost tours. I got some orbs in many pictures but would just love to have more proof. I loved it. It is the best memory of Charleston.

Unfortunately our guide was not a good storyteller. We were told very few ghost stories. Many people, including our group, left tour early.

This tour stopped at the graveyard which was not as scary as it seemed. We learned many historical ghost stories and learned about most seen ghosts. We made a couple of stops (5 or so) and the last was the graveyard where we just sort of looked at the graves. I wish we had more stories about graves in the graveyard... I think this all depends on the guide and what they know and their enthusiasm for the tour. I would recommend Bulldog tours.

I love ghost tours and take them often when traveling. This tour was a disappointment for the most part. The guide told many stories but they were not engaging. She would say things like "I heard" or "rumor has it". We went to the cemetary/graveyard, and were told stories about various graves but not specifically about the people in them. I would live to have heard their stories specifically. There was not one story that pulled me in or made me want to hear more. It was a lovely night to stroll through downtown and the guide was pleasant, just not passionate about the storytelling. I have been on a ghost walk in Savannah, GA that was great and I was hoping that level of passion would be displayed here. When I hear a story, I want to be able envision being there and that was not the case here.

Probably due to a combination of high humidity and a tour guide that couldn't hold my interest, I could not wait for this tour to be over. We couldn't see anything because it was so late at night, and what we did see was boring. The tour guide knew his facts and told them well, but didn't seem all that interested in what he was telling us. I would not rebook this tour again.
