if you are in charleston you must take a ghost tour, i recommend bulldog tours ,several options available, my wife and i chose a rainy friday night in october graveyard tour, our tour guide(rebel) a young lady was very detailed about all the sites ,it was really fun and g rated so familes would love it, but the item that stuck out more was our last stop, i will just say the anna belle lee stop, it was at this site one had the ,most eery sad feeling , a feeling of loss , it moves you to tears , yes it was haunted and you will be to after you do this great tour, thanks again to rebel and the folks at bulldog tours

The tour was okay, but not what I expected. I was under the impression that we would be able to walk through the cemeteries at night and see the headstones, but our guide told us that there is a law against it. Also, I was hoping to actually see or feel the presence of some ghosts, but was disappointed. I was just not impressed with the tour enough to do it again any time in the future, or even to recommend it to anyone else, especially at the price I paid for it. |

Our Bulldog tourguide was enthusiastic and well-versed in the local history and "ghosts" of Charleston. Our particular tour allowed internal access to graveyards that other tour companies did not appear to have with their groups. We were also pleased with the fact that a portion of our ticket price was being donated to help in local restoration/preservation efforts. Taking this tour in October was a special treat; however, I am sure it would be enjoyable any time during the year. |

My family recently took the Bulldog Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. With daughters 15 and 11, we were not sure how they would react, and their response was better than expected. The tour was not too scary for the youngest, and really created conversation with the teenager (which is always welcome). This was our first trip to Charleston and we will recommend Bulldog Tours to anyone that we know for their next trip to the area. |

the ghost and graveyard tour was so much fun, and i'm serious ask for mark. he's a born and breed charlestonian and he's got some great stories. plus you can tell that he likes what he does. my friend and i had so much fun it was a great way to end the trip, and i would recommend one of the later tours and then stop by kaminsky's down the street for an out of this world martini. |

Due to city restrictions, we were not allowed near certain locations on our tour - which makes it hard to get into a story when you can't even see the location the guide is telling about. Also, we were only allowed access into one graveyard. I would suggest the Ghost & Dungeon tour instead, because you get access to a graveyard AND the dungeon. |

I loved this tour. Our tour guide, John, had been doing these tours for 15 years and was very friendly and informative. Since he is from the area it made it extremely educational since he had personal knowledge of all of the buildings, neighborhoods and graveyards covered by the tour. He stopped often enough for someone like me (with back problems) to be able to keep up. He did so without making an issue about the fact that I was starting to lag behind. He was most considerate!
I have no complaints about the tour, but it would be nice if the company would disclose that it is not just a graveyard tour. That way people will know what a treat they have in store for them as far as information regarding the areas of Charleston that the tour covers.
I cannot wait to return to Charleston to do the other tours! |

Expected a little history and at least one good ghost story but we didn't get either. We were brought to a parking lot and then prompted to look at the grave sight of a dead dog! The stroll through the cemetary was not long enough. |
