Our tour guide on the 13th of July was Suzann. She spent too much time on her stories and did not incorporate enough history into them. I like ghost tours because of the interwoven history - this being a way to keep the kids interested and make it educational - and there was very little of that from Suzann. In fact, her history was often flat wrong. For example, from her version, Col Wm Rhett lived for over 150 years because he built a house in Charleston in 1713 that still stands today whose address is so-and-so and he also was a civil war hero. She also did not seem to know that revolvers were not invented during the Revolutionary War or before. It was overall kinda hokey. When she thought she was losing our attention (and she was often doing this) she would yell and try to scare you with a loud exclamation of some sort. I also did not think it was much of a "tour" - we only covered 5 or 6 blocks total. I would liked to have walked more, heard more and shorter stories and less long, drawn-out stories. Suzann was nice and I am sorry to write a poor review but I feel folks should be forewarned. |

We had Hoon as a guide and he was outstanding. Great storyteller. My kids were very attentive and interested. Hoon asked in advance if anyone was in any hurry because he had additional stories to tell, it lasted 45 minutes longer but it was worth it. Would definitely recommend it to friends. |

Our tour guide was very personable. He made the experience great. The tour was very informative with a guide who truly loved the history that surrounded the entire tour. He was capable of answering questions that were not tour specific and could delve deep into history of Charleston.
I would recommend it to anyone who is interested or just looking for a unique vacation tour. |

Ghost and Graveyard tour??? If you expect to tour a graveyard don't, the best you will come to a graveyard is the street. Ghost Tour, I can't fault the tour guide, however the information presented is "canned" at best. I would forego this activity and select another tour. This is more of a "tourest trap, beware. |

Excellent tour. Bulldog Tours was easy to find with plenty of parking and things to see while waiting for the tour. Our tour guide was well versed on the "ghostly happenings" of Charleston. I'll do other Bulldog Tours when I revisit Charleston. |

We had a great time on the tour ... and our guide (Grayson) was so much fun. He was engaging and entertaining while educating on local history and myths. Even though the weather turn into a down pour, he found a way to make the retreat into the Mills Hotel and the water-logged shoes all worthwhile. We didn't see any ghosts -- but we haven't stopped talking about how much fun it was. |

This tour had great reviews, but it did not live up to the hype. The tour guide was enthusiastic enough, but the tour was not scary and the stories were not very interesting. It didn't help that there were about 10 other ghost tours going on at the same time and we kept crossing paths. The tour also takes you on mostly busy streets in town, so it is hard to be scary when there are cars and tourists passing by. Kids seemed to like the tour, but adults were all bored and waiting for it to end. |
