The Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Tour

I think it was too trite and "silly".

My husband and I took our 4 children on this tour expecting the same excietment as with a previous tour by bulldog tours called ghost and dungeon, unfortunately it was very disappointing. It was a tour guide who took us to a parkinglot to tell ghost stories to us, then he walked us to a graveyard which we weren't allowed to enter and told more ghost stories. then we walked toanother graveyard that we were allowed to enter where he proceeded to tell another ghost story. this graveyard was cool during the first tour about a year ago but I was looking forward to seeing something different this time. I have already told my work associates not to take this tour. But I have recommended the ghost and dungeon tour.

Our tour guide, Hoon, was fantastic. He told the stories with passion and made them come to life. This was the third ghost tour I had attended(I went on the dungeon one and another tour by a different company) so I had heard every story at least twice. We went at 7:30 so for the majority of the tour it wasn't dark so it wasn't scary. I love history and he told a lot of historical stories so I wasn't bored but my best friend was, so I only reccomend if you like history and fantastic tour guides. The tour itself was rather bland(but also keep in mind, I had attended two previous tours in years past) but our tour guide made it worth it in my opinion.

Houn Calhoun was a terrific guide! He was energetic and personable. We enjoyed every minute of the tour.

Our guide was Plesant and very knowlegeable abot the local lore. Nice stories and story telling. Was very pleased with the amount of orbs captured inside the graveyard + beyond. We were happy to have gone on the tour. I would have to rank this one below the Jail tour that we took the night before. I would have liked to have been able to get inside the gates where the Lady in White resides. Will recomend your tours and the next time we are in Charleston we will tour with you. I brought two 16 year olds and two 12 year olds ...all of us really really ENJOYED THIS TOUR! The 16 year old boys were COMPLETELY focused on the stories and history. The two 12 year olds asked question after question (as did I!) ... great detail in the story telling! And our guide (Susan the retired school teacher) was absolutely wonderful! Five Thumbs Up From all 5 of us!

Our guide was simply great! At one point, while telling a story, he actually shed tears! he is a master storyteller, and he kept us longer than he had to. I would highly recommend this tour!

We had "Hoon" as our tour guide, and he was very enthusiastic and a very entertaining storyteller. The Circular Church graveyard was absolutely beautiful, I would have liked to have been there in the daylight hours to take some pictures. My husband had something weird happen...when standing outside of St. Philips graveyard, his cell phone vibrated and it was a voicemail from a private caller, the only thing it said was "7 days"??? I don't know it was in a weird voice, we are assuming that it was my mother who knew we were on a ghost tour, but she won't admit to it. The only other explanation that I can come up with is that the tour company randomly calls people to scare them, but I didn't give them his phone number, only mine as a contact. The only significance that I can find with 7 days is that we were there on June 9th and the lady whose story he was telling when we got the message died on June 16 which would have been 7 days after we were there...I still think it was my mother though!! Overall, it was a great tour, and he gave us about an extra half hour of time which was nice.

We enjoyed our ghost tour of Charleston's graveyards and cemetaries..and yes, there is a difference! You will learn all about that and much more on this tour. The tour guides are very knowledgable and welcoming; you will enjoy every minute!
