The Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Tour

The tour was interesting the whole way through, with an educated and spirited tour guide (Hoon Calhoun) who had a surplus of spooky stories that were fascinating. The group was the perfect size, not too big or too small, which allowed personal interaction with the tour guide. In addition to the stories, it was nice to see the city of Charleston during a different type of the day. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

david (the science teacher) was a great tour guide. he made the stories very interesting.

Our tour, led by David, aka "the science teacher", was absolutely wonderful. A consummate storyteller, he had us spellbound and spooked. We loved the little personal touches he added to the stories, enhancing them. We hung onto his every word, waiting for ghosts to pop out from behind Spanish moss laden trees or to waft down the dueling alley. Our eyes peered into darkened graveyards, reading toppled gravestones, listening for scraping noises or ringing bells tied to toes. This tour is not to be missed.

Going inside the graveyard was not all it was cracked up to be. Could have been better. Did not go to very many sites.

As a local, we had never done the "touristy" things that Charleston offers. I'm glad we did this one! Neil was our guide and his stories were very entertaining and informative. My daughters, ages 30 & 12, were both surprised about the spooky history of our wonderful city. We were all amazed that we did capture some really good orbs in a few of our pictures! With a bad knee, I was worried about the walk, but there were just enough standing breaks to be comfortable. I would reccommend this tour to anyone who would enjoy a stroll thru Charleston's "other side".

Graveyard tour was so-so, only went into 1 graveyard which was very disappointing, expected 2-3 at least! Tour guide was a sweet lady but didn't add much to the experience. Next time will do on our own, will see more and be able to stay longer....and use our own imagination!

Our guide, Lou, had many good stories, including his own! The kids and I had a blast. Good family fun. Not too scary for my kids. The stories were intriguing and based on "facts" that I verified later on the Web! Ghost stories just never get old, and I recommend this tour highly!
