Very enjoyable

We took the Ghost and Graveyard tour on Sunday June 24th at 9:30 pm. The departure location was very easy to find. Our tour guide, Rebel Sinclair, was very enthusiastic and obviously interested in the subject matter. She made the tour very interesting, although nothing out of the ordinary (paranormal) was seen. The headstones were especially neat ... bring your flashlight. There were several other tours going on, and some of the areas became congested, however, overall it was an enjoyable tour. *Ask for Rebel. She made it very worthwhile!

Tour guide is not recommended - Rebel

I believe that Bulldog probably has great tour guides, but the one we got was not. Just so you don't get stuck with someone who's going to preach to you or who huffs off at the end of the tour because everyone in the group wasn't solemn or crying about the story she told and also advised the whole group "I don't care if you enjoyed it or not" then ask them not to put you with Rebel. We got more philosophy about life than we got ghost stories or history and the attitude was totally one that made us all feel like we were intruding on her life.

My husband and I enjoyed the Ghost and Graveyard tour. Rebel was our tour guide and she was fantastic. She was very knowledgable and a great story teller. The tour consisted of ghost stories as well as some good Charleston history. Ask for Rebel, she is awesome!

Less than expected

My sister and I were very disappointed by our tour. We would NOT recommend it to our friends. Our tour guide was less than interesting. We think it could have been interesting, but our tour guide lack the enthusiasm and story telling skills to do this. I had been on a ghost tour in Charleston previously and was excited about going again (10 years later), but was really let down by the experience that I will probably not bring my husband when we return to Charleston.

Rebel? More like Ramble! As the second most haunted city in the US I was expecting alot of anecdotes about hauntings, but that's definitely not what I got. I didn't think I'd SEE a ghost, but hearing about more than 2 sightings would have been nice on a GHOST TOUR! I have had friends rave about this tour so I figure I must have just had a bad guide. In fact, I am sure about it. I really should have asked for my money back and if it weren't for the fact that the next tour I took with Bulldog was alright, I would tell everyone I knew not to use them. For heaven's sake, Bulldog, tell Rebel to chuck the nonsense about sub-atomic particles and tell us where the ghosts have been seen at least! As one man in our group said, "the only ghost in this tour is the ghost of my money being wasted." If your tour group is assigned to Rebel, run away from it and go to the pub instead. You're sure to be more entertained there.

Bad choice for our family

I chose the Ghost & Graveyard tour mainly for my 14 year old son. He has always wanted to go on a ghost tour. The tour guide, Miss "Rebel" was great at story telling and of course my son immediately fell in love with her. There was nothing really scary about the tour. As for my husband and myself, we could have used the funds and the time better. I felt very bad for walking through a graveyard over the graves for the sake of entertainment.

It was hard to tell if the tour is not good or we just had a bad guide, but our entire group found it very boring and could hardly wait for it to be over. Our guide was not a good story teller and kept repeating herself. On the whole I would not recommend.

The tour guide was really "in" to his role, so we enjoyed him. We expected the tour to be more interesting than it was though.

My group of friends really enjoyed the 9:30 pm ghost and graveyard tour. Our tour guide, Kathy, was very entertaining. It was fun to be inside the graveyard while other tour groups were on the outside of the fence. There wasn't a lot of walking required; however, it was tough to stand so long in one place after a full day of tourist activities. I would definitely go on another Bulldog tour.

Hoon was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgable about all of Charleston. I have taken several "Ghost " type walks and his was a little different and a little more informative. I recommend everyone go on at least one type of walking tour while visiting because walking brings you so much closer to everything. Thos Cemetary ghost walk was great, especially in the dark of the night. Not scary, but great. I took this tour by myself, but by the end of it I had made several friends.
