| The graveyard ghost tour was great! I was traveling with co-workers and we all had a great time. Our tour guide was fantastic and really made it fun. I've been told by others that this tour is as good as your tour guide and we lucked out. Like most of the other reviews say, you won't see any ghosts, but the graveyard is very cool and learning about the history and ghost lore really kept me engaged. I would recommend this to anyone except smaller children. |

| Our guide (Hoon) was witty and knowledgable and shared it with the group in a entertaining way. It was wonderful to gain a lot of knowledge about the city that many of us never new, and to gain it with a good speaker was great. |

| We went on a tour earlier this week and had a decent time with the exception of a few details. We arrived early like our ticket said, only to stand around for over twenty minutes on a hard floor with nowhere to sit while we waited for our tour which started late. So my first recommendation would be to provide seating and to make sure the tour started on time. Our guide was the first one out and we were the first group to gather. We went outside and stood along the wall and waited and watched while all of the other groups formed and walked past us.
Our guide, Hoon, was absolutely delightful in telling us the rules and some funny stories about being careful. Fifteen minutes later we finally started our tour...or rather what we thought was the start of our tour. We proceeded to an empty parking lot where we were then informed about the many different tests and certifications it took to be a tour guide and how if we mess anything up we could get him in trouble. Again, very amusing, but we were wondering when our actual tour would start. Finally, when Hoon decided it was dark enough to proceed we headed over to the church to find we were the very last of ALL of the tour groups (not all with the same company) to arrive. We were now 40+ minutes into our tour and had not heard a single ghost story. We waited a few minutes for another group to leave before he began and when they didn't, he FINALLY started to tell us a ghost story. He was very informative and a great story teller.
After that we went next to the Circular Church graveyard where we were told 2 more stories. Both were very interesting and spooky and the crowd liked this part the most. We did have to wait a bit longer for a group in front of us to clear out but it was only a few minutes. And then our tour was over and we were led to the Waldenbooks on Market and Meeting Street.
For almost $20 per person and 2 hours of my time I heard 3 ghost stories which I could have easily read about in one of the Charleston ghost book guides. It seemed like the group was too big for everyone to hear and see pictures clearly and I was disappointed with all of the waiting. I suggest to stagger the tours at different locations or to stagger the times so people get what they paid for. I am local to Charleston and will most likely not go on another tour like this but might recommend it to others with the disclaimer that it is not really worth the price. I might be willing to consider another tour company if the price is less and they can guarantee a better time.
And as an extra side note: I understand that these are ghost stories and the guides might want to lower their voices for dramatic effect but that means that half of the group can't hear what they are saying. I'm 28 and I was straining to hear on multiple occasions. |

| We had an emergency with a child and were unable to make the tour. Make sure you understand, it's non refundable! Don't know if and when we might be able to make it up! |
