| We had a great time! The tour guide was enthusiastic about the history of the jail as well as his experience giving tours of the jail. It was very interesting although we did not get to go in a lot of the rooms or upstairs it was a very fun experience. I caught some orbes with my camera. The really cool part was when I went to take some pictures of the hallway and as soon as the flash it seemed like a huge flash came out of the display screen on my digital camera it was extremely weird. We also heard some weird noises. The only bad thing about the tour is when u get stuck in a group with a know it all whos extremely rude and continuously cuts off the tour guide as well as talking and playing around during the tour! |

| Our group, ranging in age from 12 to 74, thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the jail. Be aware that the neighborhood is sketchy at best. I do not advise walking from the ticket office to the tour location. |

| I, myself, don't scare *that* easily, but I was with someone who does and we were both freaked out by the end of this tour. The guide was great. He spoke clearly, knew his material and told stories that were both from the past and recent encounters. Ultimately, who knows how much is true, but you'll walk out believing it is. I have taken every tour this company has to offer and have immensely enjoyed each one and have even done some more than once. I always learn something new. This jail tour however... I'm not sure I can handle it more than once. It wasn't so much a fakey type thing where you hear sounds or they purposely try and scare you. It was simply that the atmosphere and the matter-of-fact way that he told of his feelings and experiences and the building itself... the horrors that went on there, or prisoners so many years ago... that made you believe that if any a place was haunted, this jail was it. Very satisfied. |

| I could have seen more of the facility. Being a Correctional Officer as well as into haunted type things, and into the history of different facilites open and closed is a very intresting thing to me. I wish we could have seen more of it though. I know there was many places that we were not allowed to access. I will definitly come back again and do the tour. |

| This was a fascinating historical site. However, the tour was quite crowded with close to 30 people. This does not create favorable conditions for experiencing the paranormal. It was also a bit disappointing that we were not able to see the jail cells; we only observed 3 common rooms inside the building. I would recommend this tour to the history buff, but not so much to the paranormal enthusiast. |

| Our tour guide, Suzanne, was great. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. This was our first time in Charleston and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. |

| I enjoyed my tour greatly. Our guide (sorry can't remember his name) tall young man, heavy southern accent, was very knowledgeable and descriptive of the jail and what happened there. He seemed to really enjoy giving us the tour and also told us of his personal experiences while at the jail. It is nice to know that part of the tour fee goes back to restoring it. Be that as it may, the jail itself is a horribly creepy place and frankly I was glad to leave. I had the feeling of being constantly watched but I guess that goes along with the purpose of the place doesn't it? Thanks for an interesting evening and I wouldn't hesitate to tell my friends to take the tour.

| The guide was very informative and enthusiastic about the tour.
The only thing I would change about the tour would be how we got there. We did not realize that we would have to get from the office to the jail on our own. I guess we missed that on the information we received. We walked to the jail and there were some streets that we just weren't that comfortable walking down since they were fairly dark. |

| Enjoyed the tour!! Liked hearing the stories about prisoners and guards that were at the jail. Just wish it could have been longer : ). |
