| But it didn't. she really enjoyed the tour as we all did. Suzann was an awesome tour guide...I think the guide could really make a difference. We've done the 'ghost walks' in Charleston before, but this was by far the most intense! It was well worth the money! |

| OUR GUIDE GINGER, WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND MADE OUR TOUR AN UNFORGETABLE EXPERIENCE. MY 15 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER CALLED IT "AWSOME". WISH IT WOULD HAVE LASTED LONGER. |

| This tour was great and will even get better when the entire jail is restored. The building is really spooky and some of the stories of what went on in that place are crazy. The living quarters in that jail are amazing. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Ginger was our tour guide and had some great personal experiences of her own to share. |

| We thought the jailhouse tour would be spooky, but it wasn't. The lights were only turned off once briefly, but the rest of the time the lights were on. It wasn't scary or spooky and there weren't any kind of scary props, etc. I don't recommend this tour. |

| This was worth the money. Good if you have a little imagination and a desire to possibly see ghosts. |

| I, my wife, and 14 yr old son vacationed in the Charleston area and took in many of the sites and activities. The haunted jail was near the top of our list of fun things we did on our trip. The jail was quite creepy and our tour guide, "Susan", was excellent. We took pictures, and several in our group captured glowing orbs and unusual phenomenon in their photographs. My son captured one on his cell phone camera. It was well worth the money. My only criticism is that there is no parking near the jail so we had to walk about 5 or 6 blocks to get there. The map given by Bulldog was confusing and wasnt much help. We had to ask for directions from passer byes on the street, but fortunately everyone in Charleston was friendly and helpful. It would have been nice if everyone attending the tour met at Bulldog, and walked over as a group or if Bulldog had provided transportation to and from the jail. Even so, the actual tour was outstanding. I would recommend it to everyone visiting Charleston. |

| I really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She told us a lot of history and facts about the jail. The reviews I read said that it is really scary. I wasn't frightened at all, but it take a lot to scare me. I do think, however, that many of the other people on the trip got a bit freaked out. Apparently, some of the tours end up seeing, hearing or smelling something out of the ordinary. Definitely bring your camera!
Also, they ask you to check in 45 minutes early so that you can walk to the site. It actually takes almost that long to walk there, so make sure you are on time. If you are driving, however, the jail is only about 5 minutes from the Bulldog office and there is free parking (unlike everywhere else in Charleston!) |

| It was interesting that of all the people in the group that believed in ghosts my daughter and I were the only ones.
Tour guide less than enthusiastic. Spoke too fast.
Did get some great shots with orbs in them. |

| The tour was GREAT! Suzanne was our guide and she was excellent. She was very knowledgible about the jail and her presentation was absolutely perfect. I would and have recommend this tour to everyone. I will do it again the next time I am in Charleston. I wish, however, that they would offer a day tour in order to better see the facilities. |

| Without a doubt, this was a GREAT tour! Our tour guide has a great way of telling stories about Charleston and the haunted jail. It was great to go inside the jail and see the different rooms and hear the different stories. It definately had a creepy, spine tingling effect. My nephew enjoyed being a "victim" in the Crain of Pain. He said it was eery to stand there where someone in the past had been treated so violently. In a few of the rooms, we got that "someone is watching me" creepy feeling. We were in a small group, so that made the tour even better. We also took the Graveyard tour, but highly recommend this one more. If you have to choose between the two - go with the Haunted Jail! |
