Absolutely loved the Haunted Jail Tour, especially at 9:30 at night. I was just great.

For the cost of a ticket, I found the whole experience very disappointing...Far too expensive for a 45 minute tour, that was a 1/2 mile away (no transportation provided by BullDog and given a lousy map in which to follow on foot)...saw the yard of the jail, and 3 rooms...tour guide was dramatic, which eased the disappointment, but the facts of 1 of the ghost stories wasn't correct (I did know something of that one prisoner's exploit's)...overall experience was crappy...I will pass on using BullDog again...there are other haunted tours, for less money....

Hope you catch a moment like I did!

I have been on the haunted jail tour twice. The first tour was alot more informational and we were able to fit in alot more detail. This tour, though, was filled with a little paranormal activity (if you know what I mean). While we were standing inside the jail on the 2nd floor, the above floor (which was abandoned) was creaking very loud as if someone was walking on it. It lasted for about 10-15 seconds and the tour guide even made a comment, "Well that was a little creepy!".

| We drove from Myrtle Beach just to take this tour. We had all the high expectations of a great experience. The tour guide was friendly and informative ( GInger ) and she did a great job. The tour however was very short and only a small portion of the jail was to be viewed. I think the tour should include a bigger portion of the jail, - and a bit longer. Our tour only lasted approximately 40 minutes- when scheduled for an hour and a half. It was a small let down for having to drive the distance just to see this tour.
Thanks.

But it didn't. she really enjoyed the tour as we all did. Suzann was an awesome tour guide...I think the guide could really make a difference. We've done the 'ghost walks' in Charleston before, but this was by far the most intense! It was well worth the money!

OUR GUIDE GINGER, WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND MADE OUR TOUR AN UNFORGETABLE EXPERIENCE. MY 15 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER CALLED IT "AWSOME". WISH IT WOULD HAVE LASTED LONGER.

This tour was great and will even get better when the entire jail is restored. The building is really spooky and some of the stories of what went on in that place are crazy. The living quarters in that jail are amazing. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Ginger was our tour guide and had some great personal experiences of her own to share.

We thought the jailhouse tour would be spooky, but it wasn't. The lights were only turned off once briefly, but the rest of the time the lights were on. It wasn't scary or spooky and there weren't any kind of scary props, etc. I don't recommend this tour.

This was worth the money. Good if you have a little imagination and a desire to possibly see ghosts.

I, my wife, and 14 yr old son vacationed in the Charleston area and took in many of the sites and activities. The haunted jail was near the top of our list of fun things we did on our trip. The jail was quite creepy and our tour guide, "Susan", was excellent. We took pictures, and several in our group captured glowing orbs and unusual phenomenon in their photographs. My son captured one on his cell phone camera. It was well worth the money. My only criticism is that there is no parking near the jail so we had to walk about 5 or 6 blocks to get there. The map given by Bulldog was confusing and wasnt much help. We had to ask for directions from passer byes on the street, but fortunately everyone in Charleston was friendly and helpful. It would have been nice if everyone attending the tour met at Bulldog, and walked over as a group or if Bulldog had provided transportation to and from the jail. Even so, the actual tour was outstanding. I would recommend it to everyone visiting Charleston.
