The Charleston Haunted Jail Tour

Our guide was very knowledgable about the city jail and it's history. She was very engaging and kept our attention. I would have like to have had more time to enjoy the spaces and not been rushed so. I know it was b/c she was doing another tour...need to space them out more so there is time to explore the space.

This was a great tour. The tour guide really seemed to know his stuff and did good job in presenting it. I am definitely considering taking another tour. Thank you for the good time.

I don't know what I expected, but I wanted to see the inside of that jail. Tour was not scary but tour guide was knowledgable & made it an interesting.

We went to the 9pm tour so that it would be dark. However, I suggest going early so you can get some good pictures of the jail in the daylight. The tour guide was good and told several stories about people who have been jailed here. However, I was a little disappointed that we were only able to tour one floor of the jail.

We, enjoyed the first 1/2 hour of the tour, the guide was very good. But at that point, my 9 year old daughter wanted to leave because the story was too scary. We all left because it was so hot, stuffy, and muggy. I would recomend the tour, just not Charleston in August.

It was in informative tour I .... I was hopping to see more inside the building we visited about 3 rooms.

It was a great history lesson, however, my husband and i were disappointed that we didn't see or hear any ghosts. Our guide told us about the numerous ghost encounters that have occured on that sight, however, I think 50% of the stories were nothing but hype. I would definetly recommend the tour if you're interested in the history of Charelston and if you're interested in relic buildings as we are. It's a cool place to visit, but we would have liked to have seen more of the building that was off limits.

The tour guide was wonderful and really knew her stuff. I was best going at night on the tour for the full effect. It was a nice walk from Bulldog tours but if going late at night i suggest going by car. it is not in a great neighborhood. you will have a amazing time if you go open-minded. we (my husband) took tons of pictures and i suggest the same.

We went on the jailhouse tour and actually got a picture of a real ghost!! Suzanne was our guide and she was great!! We also went the second night on the graveyard tour and had Rebel as our guide and she was even better than Suzanne!! Very informative and just a really fun trip.

The haunted jail tour was very well run and alot of fun. We got some great orb photos and the guide was really informed. Had a great time and highly recommend this tour.
