They only thing I would like you to add and i know i WOULD PAY FOR IT IS A SPEND A NIGHT IN THE JAIL OR IN A ANOTHER HUNTED PLACE, i THINK IT WOULD BE REALLY COOL AND I THINK ALOT OF PEOPLE WOULD BE UP OF IT. I KNOW AT LEAST 5 PEOLPE WHERE I LIVE THAT WOULD DO IT. LET ME KNOW IF YOU COULD ADD SOMETHING LIKE THAT, THANKS AGAIN LAUREEN BRILL INDIAN TRIAL NC |

| This was definintely not spooky. The jail isn't abandoned. It's been turned into a college campus. There are classrooms in most of the rooms and lots of debris from building projects. It would have been much more believable in an empty (abandoned) building. The surrounding neighborhood isn't safe or somewhere I would normally venture. Drive your car to the jail - don't walk! |

| Ok so we went to see this. First I wouldn't walk to it, DRIVE YOUR CAR. It's not in the greatest area and it was really dark.
It was really hot in there and the tour was ok. Learned a lot about it from back in the day. It was neat to see the orignal doors and areas. But yes you only go into 3 rooms because A LOT of it is under construction. I hope that one day they set it up like it once was. It is so old that they are trying to restore it so it doensn't fall down. Most of it is closed because there is an oak tree grow in one of the buildings. |

| i went on the jail tour on 05/16/2009. the jail its self was worth the trip but the tour (to be nice about it ) i wouldnt go back if they paid me $18.00. i took that long trip to go through the whole jail and got to see three rooms. it needs to be on there site. only three or four rooms are open and since its half a jail tour it should be half price. |

| Our tour guide I believe was Suzanne and she was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the history behind the jail. Being new to Charleston this was a great way to get out and see things around this city. I will be doing more tours in the future. Thanks again for a great experience. |

| I really enjoyed the Haunted Jail Tour. My Mother has never been on a ghost tour and this was really a good tour to take her on. We were very impressed with the stories and the old jail. My mother told me she had chills and was a little spooked walking through. It had a lot of history for me and I enjoyed it. My mother is ready for another tour with Bulldog Tours. I highly recommend The Haunted Jail Tour. |

| Not only is this building creepy, but the guide we had was fantastic. She was entertaining, knowledgeable, and full of energy. She knew her stuff. Definitely a fun way to spend an hour or so. Make sure you go after dark! |

| My husband and I enjoyed the tour with the exception that we were not allowed to go to every area of the Jail. It was advertised as a no bars tour, but the area that was supposed to be the most haunted (opinion based), the basement, was off limits.
The basement is said to be the area where the mentally insane were chained to the floor and kept in cement box like containers. It was the most looked forward to area of the Jail we wanted to see, yet we were not allowed in the area. That was a bit of a disappointment.
Our tour guide however (I believe her name was Suzanne) was very good. She added great emphasis to the stories she was telling in the right areas to spook us. Not to mention, she closed the gate, locked the outer door, and cut the lights off on us to give us the full feel of being trapped in the jail. That experience gave me chills up and down my spine. |

| The jail itselt was pretty creepy; however, we thought that there would be creepy "monsters" hanging around, some special effects., etc. The story teller was very good. We went on a Sunday night; apparently there were no students in the basement sawing away, so Sunday must be a good night to go. The only real complaint we had was that we walked six blocks to get to the jail. It would have been better if a shuttle was there at the Bulldog office to take us to the jail because once there, the surrounding area didn't look very safe.
