Loved walking around the city and sampling different foods along with informative description of the history of various types of dishes and food types. Very interesting and knowledgeable tour guide. She also worked around a sudden rainstorm and flooding in the area where we were to go. |

Fran, our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the Charleston historical information as well as the tastes of Charleston. The staff at the places visited were friendly and everything we tasted was delicious. The tastes were sufficient enough that all we wanted after the tour was dessert for lunch. |

My huband and I are foodies and this is the 6th food tour we have taken in various U.S. cities. This tour ranks with the best in showing the history and culture of the area through food. We highly recommend our guide Cathy, who is a native of Charleston with plenty of information to share. What a delicious, enjoyable time we spent! |

Our tour guide, Brooke, was extremely knowledgeable and well-prepared and even provided additional tips and recommendations beyond the scripted tour. Our journey included a local bakery (grits and spice bread), candy shop (pralines and candied almonds), BBQ restaurant (pulled pork, corn bread and coleslaw), cooking store, and spice store. I think the tour stops/content could use a little extra something else, hence only a 4 out of 5. This is great for anyone who is new to the local food scene / cuisine in Charleston. For serious foodies, though, the Chef's Kitchen tour might be a better option (we didn't tried this but would have really liked to if the scheduling had worked out). |

Great lesson in SC foods, what makes them so good, how many are made and just one heck of a great way to explore Charleston. I never write reviews but am compelled to do with this tour and this company. You will not regret taking this tour. |

Excellent, educational, a good sampling of Southern cuisine. With the pralines being the first stop, it left a sweet taste for the grits, etc. that followed; perhaps the Sweet Shop could be the last stop rather than the first. Nancy, the tour guide, did an excellent job. It was fun meeting the other tourist participants and interacting with them about their local cuisines elsewhere. |

This was a fun way to spend a Friday afternoon in Charleston, SC. I would like to see them cover more restaurants and not businesses. The Spice House was interesting but not needed in this tour. |

My friend and I recently took the "Savor the Flavor" tour and I highly recommend it. Brooke was an wonderful guide. A true foodie, she was able to guide us through the history and prosperity of Charleston through its food. I have never been on such a tour. The bites and tastes along the way were great but the guide is really the star. |
