The Charleston Stroll - A Walk with History Tour

I very much enjoyed my stroll through Charleston! The guide on my tour was a lovely, local lady named Ann, whose knowledge of Charleston was very impressive. Our tour actually lasted longer than the alloted time, but time didn't matter since I was enjoying every tidbit of information and history! I highly recommend the tour and in particular my guide. I really enjoyed this tour. Me and my daughter traveled 2 hours while on vacation to take this tour. I really enjoyed the wealth of information and wonderful personality of both of our tour guides. I has encouraged me to revisit Charlestown next year when I am on vacation so that I may find our even more information than I received on the day of tour.

As a newbe to the area, it showed me a sanpshot of Charleston history. I also love to take random snapshots which are numerous in the walk! Our guide, Anne, was very informative and friendly. Would do again sometime!

A good introduction to the uniqueness that is Charleston. I had done some reading, so some of the information was redundant, but I still learned new information. A good start to a newcomer to Charleston.

My husband and I throughly enjoyed the tour. The knowledge of our tour guide was wonderful. She made me want to go back and study the Civil War once again because of the numerous references made throughout our walk. We had a sincere appreication of the city. We had a great time. We had Martha, who was very knowledgeable about Charleston. She answered any questions we had and presented a wealth of information. We took this tour on our first full day in Charleston, and it helped to get us familiar with our surroundings. I would highlly recommend the stroll.

We really enjoyed the tour. The guide, Joann, was very informative and fun. If you visit Charleston in August, be prepared for the heat. We took the 10:00 am tour and it was pretty hot and muggy. I would recomend taking a bottle of water.
