The Charleston Stroll - A Walk with History Tour

It was really great to get to see some of the up close and more personal views that you don't get on the other tours. The alleys and piazzas were great to see as well as learning the history that went with them. It was wonderful just strolling the city! Highly recommended!

Appreciated historic insight sprinkled with humor and stories from "Grandma" offered by our tour guide John. I had my freshman College of Charleston daughter with me who enjoyed the walk after initally having her doubts. The diversity of our group including senior citizens, 3 former college roomates celebrating a reunion and women visiting from Arizona and Tennessee made for very congenial and interesting walking company.

We enjoyed our tour and really liked our tour guide. She was very informative and had some great stories. I would highly recommend this tour.

I would recommend this for just about anyone. The children on the tour were tired and distracted toward the end of our tour, but our guide, Mary, rekindled interest. She watched each member of our group to be sure she held their interest, she encouraged questions and injected a lot of humor. It was great!

There was some history, but I would have liked more factual information. This was the USA Today of tours, some fluff but not a lot of meat. I did enjoy myself, but most of what was presented I already knew from books.

This was a nice brief overview of a little bit of Charleston. The woman who did our tour knew a lot about Charleston, and the homes we walked by had quite interesting history. We recommend this as a good way to get started seeing Charleston.

My husband and I really enjoyed The Charleston Stroll - A Walk With History Tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out a variety of facts that made it interesting. Even though it was quite warm, the pace was easy to keep up with and we stopped many times to share information and ask questions. We would highly recommend this activity.

This tour is a great overview of Charleston, we saw and heard a lot of interesting things in just 2 hours. Take your pictures quick to fit it all in. The only downside is that we started late while waiting on another couple which is probably why the tour felt a bit rushed. I thought this was nice of the tour guide but a little frustrating because the website and tour information stress that tours would not wait on anyone and we made a point to be very early. I recommend this tour, you get to see a lot for a great price.
