| Joanne was very knowledgeable and entertaining. She is a wealth of knowledge and made it a fun walk. She not only gave us info from the days of the Charlestown settlement, but also current ownership, property values and renovation info on various homes. |

| Some of the information was very good, but the guide didn't seem to connect with our group very well. She also got pretty bogged down in some questions that other folks asked, and I felt like it was to the detriment of other things we might have learned about things we were passing by at the time. |

| A good introduction to the uniqueness that is Charleston. I had done some reading, so some of the information was redundant, but I still learned new information. A good start to a newcomer to Charleston. |

| Just my type of tour-We covered a lot of ground efficiently in the 2 hour tour and learned a lot about the city and its history. We were in Charleston for less than 36 hours and I highly recommend the tour to any visitor. The couple I was visiting have lived there for many years and they said they learned a lot as well! |

| My husband and I throughly enjoyed the tour. The knowledge of our tour guide was wonderful. She made me want to go back and study the Civil War once again because of the numerous references made throughout our walk. We had a sincere appreication of the city.
Would recommend a tour like this the minute you arrive into town. Thank you. |

| We had a great time. We had Martha, who was very knowledgeable about Charleston. She answered any questions we had and presented a wealth of information. We took this tour on our first full day in Charleston, and it helped to get us familiar with our surroundings. I would highlly recommend the stroll. |

| The tour guide was more interested in telling us about what she had to do to get her tour guide license. Not a whole lot of the city history was discussed. |
