	More walk than talk... The Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Tour

	Much of the 90-minute tour was spent walking -- at times quite briskly to keep up. Some of the walking was a bit difficult, crossing dark cobblestone streets and then trying not to trip over uneven ground, rocks, and even pieces of graveyard headstones. If you are at all unsteady on your feet, this tour is not for you! The tourguide was friendly enough and has been doing this for a number of years. Some of the historical information he shared was interesting; but some of it conflicted with information we heard from other tourguides. As the tour was at night, and right around Halloween, I expected a few more "ghost" stories and a higher degree of spookiness. Overall, we were disappointed and felt a little more effort could have had better results.

	They can't take you down any residential streets, so much of the talking occurs in parking lots. But it was somewhat interesting.

	This tour was a good one. In addition to relating one of Charleston's many ghost stories our tour guide provided a lot of interesting historical information about the jail. It surprised me to know the gallows used for private hangings was still on the grounds, until Hurricane Hugo dispatched it in September 1989. Apparently the gallows could not be tampered with by people because of its historic nature. The story of the serial killing couple was especially intriguing. Our guide's stories of her personal experiences in the jail were a plus. In addition, the guide told us about the two-story house next door, which she said was probably more haunted than the jail.

	We had been looking forward to this tour for quite sometime. The good thing, was that we didn't have any expectations. However, when I think of "Ghost Tour" I think of ghots or something supernatural. Our tour guide was Ginger. I really can't say anything bad about her! She acted like she really enjoys her job. However, the tour was more of a history lesson (which probably isn't her fault AT ALL.) We were hoping for something a little more spooky.. something that would scare us a little bit! Instead, it was just a history tour. I am not saying that it was bad.. But it just wasn't what we were hoping for. If you're interested in learning about the history of this particular Charleston jail, then this tour is for you! If you're wanting to go on more of a spooky tour, you should probably try to find something else. Also, the people who work in the office at Bulldog Tours weren't the nicest of people. But if Ginger does your tour, you will like her!

	I took my 13 year old daughter to this and we had a great time. We took the tour at night which was awesome. The tour guide gave us lots of information on the history of the building & people in the jail, stories about prisoners, who owns the building now, ect. We found it to be creepy and exciting inside the jail. My daughter walked away with wanting to learn more about a certain prisoner by the name of Lavinia Fisher.

	My wife and I were in Charleston on our honeymoon and did the Ghosts and Graveyard tour on our first night in Charleston. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, especially thanks to our guide, Tad, as he was a superb storyteller and exceptionally friendly. We had a great time and learned a great deal about Charleston's history in an interesting and different way. If you do go on the tour, make sure you try to get Tad as your guide...you will not be disappointed.

	This was a great way to see another side of Charleston. The tour guide was great. I woudl definitely recommend it.

	This was my first trip to Charleston and I had an amazing time. The one thing I wanted to do while in Charleston was to take a "Ghost Tour". I really didn't know what to expect but thought it would be fun. Although we didn't see any ghosts - that we know of - the history and the guide we had were amazing. I have already been talking about doing another Bulldog Tour there soon. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service and the excellent tour guide - I will definitely recommend to many of my friends! MJ

	I really liked the tour, however, I would have liked to have seen more scary things and gone on a longer tour... possibly to the basement. Our tour guide was wonderful, but talked really fast, so it was hard to understand a lot of it. We had a very big group which also made it very difficult to see. There were a few things that I would have liked to seen on the walls that I could not. I would also recommend not sending adults with children. Our group was full of maybe 13 year old girls would acted silly the whole time, so it was difficult to get the full effect. Overall, we had a good time though.

	Overall, I found this tour to be quite interesting. While I'm a Charlestonian, I never get to visit downtown, and have sadly never gone on a Ghost Tour before. The parking situation was terrible, but the tour made up for it. Our tour guide was fantastic... he was very personable and had a lot of knowledge about the area. He shared tons of amazing ghost stories with us, many of them personal experiences. He also shared some incredible photos with us. The visit to the dungeon was a tad creepy due to the story-telling and photo-sharing from our tour guide, but we managed to take some pretty interesting photos... including one with possible orbs (need to get developed to really tell). All in all, worth the price; definitely recommended.

	My anticipation of being scared was worse than the actual. Our tour guide Susan was fabulous!!! She has a great voice for this tour and she certainly knows her facts about the jail. We did not experience any spirits but I do beleive they reside in and around the jail.
