I ENJOYED THIS TOUR VERY MUCH.

The tour was something my wife and I wanted to try out during our honeymoon and it was well worth our time. We got to learn a lot about the history of Charleston, and also about those that might still haunt certain places given the city's rich history. It wasn't some cheesy ghost hunt, but rather a historical look at the city's past. Definitely enjoyed our time!!

WE thoroughly enjoyed our ghost tour of Charleston. Our guide was clever and interesting and full of info.

Very disappointed, went on a ghost walk tour last year, and was enjoyable. The darkside tour was something we wanted to do different, and it was a walk with little details. Our guide tried to be too funny, and it seemed to make him very nervous, as this was his first time giving the darkside tour.

We loved the Darkside of Charleston tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and really did a nice job taking us to a variety of places and sharing some interesting stories. As much as it was entertaining, it was also very educational.

This was our first ghost tour and would defintely do another one next time we go to Charleston. The guide was very informative.

The tour was okay. I was expecting more out of the dungeon though. The guide was really good. Don't think I would do this tour again.

The tour was great. We enjoyed the guide and felt like she was very informative. I actually felt like someone touched me in the jail. I would take this tour again

Very enjoyable and fun. The tour guide assigned to our group was very enthusiastic and made for a very pleasureable tour. One recommendation is to not make comments about "other tours" behaviors or practices stick strictly with telling the group what makes your tours the best. This tour was a requirement for a school project and was recommended by a co-worker. I will definitely make the same recommendation to anyone interested in taking tours of Charleston.

We had a great tour guide and it was a very fun, and entertaining walk. Lots of fun little anecdotes about Charleston History.

Tour time was spent mostly standing and listening to tour guide tell stories. Very little visual stimeulation. One stop at dungeon was the only highlight. The remainder of the time (80%) was spent standing on sidewalks. The tourguide belabored her stories to the point they were boring.

Our tour guide I believe was Suzanne and she was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the history behind the jail. Being new to Charleston this was a great way to get out and see things around this city. I will be doing more tours in the future. Thanks again for a great experience.

I really enjoyed the Jail Tour! It was a great old building that had a lot of history behind it. A lot of our pictures had unexplainable lights/spots in them, but one girl on our tour had a glowing outline of a person in her picture. It was really spooky. The tour guide was smart. She knew a lot about the jail. She kept us moving, but didnt rush anyone. My cousins and I enjoyed it very much and would definitely recommend it to others!

The jail looks like it should be haunted-very atmospheric. I am a semi-pro photographer, so I shot many pics in hopes of capturing something. I was not disappointed. I captured an inexplicable localized translucent haze outside of a window of the building, a tiny blue orb on an exterior wall- which upon magnification appeared three dimensional, as well as an invisible to the naked eye red orb in a completely dark jail cell. This was worth the price of admission. However, the tour guide was overdramatic with foot stomping, flashlight below her face, and a fun snap explosive. This detracted from the tour- the building doesn't need the 'haunted house' effects. My advice- keep as far away from the guide and group as possible, and take lots of pictures.

My wife and I took the walking ghost tour and was very disappointed. The tour consisted of spending time in an old dungeon with waxed figures nad being told to watch for the ropes to move. We then walked around for 30 minutes with two additional stops. It was not a ver interesting tour.
