Bulldog Tours

We decided over a year ago to have our own Halloween party. We'd spent many years enjoying handing out candy to trick or treaters and decided the next time we'd do something for ourselves. So, this is what we chose to do and we weren't disappointed! We'll probably do it again next year. As much as we enjoyed handing out candy, this was much better. We're all transplants and the history learned in our city was wonderful. It was so meaningful to have learned it from another person, as opposed to reading it in a book. Our guide did a wonderful job. I'd recommend this as an alternative for kids and adults alike.

Eric was our tour guide. He was enthusastic and had wonderful stories. A little girl in our tour group was terrified. I thought the stories about the people from history were very interesting, sad, and informative. I enjoyed the graveyard tour and would reccommend it to anyone looking for something fun and different to do.

The tour was very entertaining and the stories that were told were very good. We are planning to take more of the tours that are offered by your company.

This was a great tour. Suzanne was amazing and did a wonderful job with the stories. The only bad part was at the end one of the colleges had thier work stations set up in the basement so it took away from the creapy feel. Overall reccommended!!

The story telling was superb! The stories themselves were quite historical and frightening. I even firmly believe I encountered a ghost inside the St. Phillip cemetery! I would, with out a doubt, highly recommend this tour to any one, local or tourist!

We as a group enjoyed the activity and I would recommend it to anyone. The tour guide was fun and we all enjoyed the stories. However purchasing the tickets on line at zerve is a huge mistake. I found that the web site offered a $2.00 savings that could be used for the event for each person, "great deal" so when purchasing the tickets on line the savings did not come up so I called the zerve number and the person on the line said that the Bulldog tour would refund the money at the counter. That was a lie. I was so upset becasue I took the time to call the number to find out the information and it not be true. To top it off the person at Bulldog tour who was wonderful said that this has been happening a lot and they were getting ready to change that company. The problem is that Zerve ticket charges a two dollar charge for purchasing the tickets on line to get paid. In the end just print the ticket on line and go save two dollars. It is well worth going on the tour. Thank you so much BullGog for a great time.

Great tour guide with thorough knowledge of the history and the buildings in downtown Charleston. He was very animated and had great energy. The tour was fresh and informative and quite exciting. I highly recommend this tour!!

Steve was great guiding us through the dark side of Charleston's history. Fun as well as educational. We had a great time.

I have been on a couple of the tours offered by Bulldog. My favortie is the jail tour hands down. This graveyard tour was ok, I just wished we would have spent more time actually in the graveyard instead of walking around Charleston. It does have alot of history involved but the history is necessary to understand why the areas are "haunted". It would have just been a little better if the graveyard tour was actually spent in the graveyard instead of just the final 15 minutes of the tour. I do, however, stongly recommend this tour company to anybody that asks me about Charleston tours.

Our tour guide, Brooke, was great!! Good stories with alot of detail to set the mood. We would do another ghost tour if we get back to Charleston. The history background was an added plus. We went back to some of the locations the next day just to see and experience it again! Thankyou for a fun and informative 90 minutes!

My sister and I did the jail tour and found it to be alot of fun. Our guide, Ginger, was very informative and the tour seemed to fly by. My only regret is that we didnt also try the other tours they offer.

my girlfriend (18) her brother (20) and his wife (21) had a great time! The tour was very neat but my only complaint was the length. The tour ran about 50 mins but it went really fast! If you are seeking a fun haunted and spooky experience while in charleston try the Haunted Jail Tour!

Great information.. not too scary at all.. but a great history lesson! Glad we took advantage of the opportunity.

This is a very interesting tour, especially if you like the darker side of Charleston history.
