The information about the jail and the stories that were told about its occupants and the era it was functioning were interesting. The idea of ghosts being there and the raising of her voice and stomping her feet made the ghost tour leader more of a scary story teller and less of an expert on the supernatural.

We really enjoyed our tour guide...she was a great storyteller!

I've been on ghost tours in Charleston before but with other companies. I was very disappointed in the quality of the story telling on this particular tour. The guide attempted to re-enact stories in an overly dramatic fashion instead of just retelling the ghost tales. I would recommend that the tour guides adopt more professionalism. I noticed other guides carrying a lantern or some other item to denote that they were the guide. Ours just looked like another tourist with a tiny flashlight.

Great alternative for couples than the usual dinner and a movie. We did get some unexplained images on our pictures. I would have liked to been able to sit quietly in the area for awhile to increase the chance of hearing or seeing something, but it was definately not disappointing.

This was a very good tour as well as informational...

Good tour, was hoping for a little more in the frightening area but stories were good.

I recommend this to all the people...local and tourists....with no small kids!!!

We had a really good time, the fact that it was a bit foggy made it even more fun. I really like that the tour guide promotes taking pictures and gives you time to do that.

The tour was awesome!

We had hoped it would be a longer tour with more detail. It was over before we new it. WE were hoping to be scared out of our witts. Expectations too high. Perhaps the tickets should not be as much since the access inside is so limited due to the renovations. The gentlemen that was our tour guide was really nice and we enjoyed him.

Our leader (think her name was Joanne) was great. She involved the whole group and was very well informed. I especially liked the information she offered that was more "insider" than I would have gotten from the guide books.. Her suggestions on things to see after the walk were very helpful.

Too much detail on current real estate issues and prices. Learned little about local history.

I emailed the company to let them know I broke my foot and could not walk a tour. They told me to keep my ticket and they will honor it at any time.

Left halfway through. Could not understand a word the guide said. He mumbled and was unenthusiastic.
