The tour guide was amazing! He was filled with knowledge!!! Worth the money!!! Not scary, more historical! Lane was great!!!

I highly recommend the haunted jail tour. What a blast. I cannot wait until my next trip to Charleston to take it again. Next time, VIDEO!! We saw some strange things.

Good tour for the historical aspect ... jail is not in a good area of town. I would drive or walk in a group.

Our tour guide, I believe his name was Steven, was great. He was very funny, knowledgable, and kept you interested the entire time. The stories he told were very spooky and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour as something fun to do.

The tour guide did well with the information she had but we were very disappointed that we paid so much money to stand in 2 rooms of the jail that looked identical the entire tour. We expected a lot more for the cost of the tickets.

I was very very disappointed in the tour. It was...interesting, but not at all what I expected, I thought it would be exciting and maybe a little scary, but it was blah and so so, I had waited sooo long to go and would actually like to get my money back, we had a group of 5 to the tune of 102.00...not worth it at all. I would not reccomend it to anyone. If someone is actually reading this, contact me, and tell me how to get a refund..

A regular daytime walking tour may be good, but the ghost tour was terrible. We first spent at least 15 minutes outside a church graveyard while the guide showed us a highly unbelievable picture he believed to be of a ghost visiting one of the graves. A tour of the dungeon and another site were more interesting, but took much too long. Spend the time for a daytime walking or carriage tour, and leave the evening for a nice meal and maybe some entertainment.

I enjoyed learning the stories of the ghosts of charleston.

The stroll was interested it was not exactly what we had in mind, we thought we would be going into buildings. Instead we just walked around the outside and she gave us some history of the buildings.

This is a great tour to take, especially if you have done all the regular day time tours. Lane, our guide, was very informative and entertaining. I learned alot more about Charleston then I knew before.

Our guide was very enthusiatic and really made you feel what it was like to be in jail of that time. She was very detailed about what happen and what it might have look and that their could spirits in the jail.

My husband and I enjoyed The Ghost and Dungeon Tour very much. Our guide was interesting, knowledgeable, and a very good story-teller. This tour certainly lent a new perspective to semi-familiar sites (and sights). Highly recommended for entertainment AND historical-background value.
