| This tour really sucked!!!! After reading the the tour description and the fact that this tour was supposedly shown on the Travel Channel, I decided to take my mother and sister on the tour while they were down here visiting. I was really excited for it. Long story short, you get 4 or 5 cheesy stories about people who have died in Charleston. Most of the stories take place in the same alley where half the people didn't even die. The dungeon was very disappointing. Out tour guide stuttered and mumbled like a drunk. He did a terrible job presenting, informing, entertaining, or whatever you want to call what he does...The price for the 3 tickets I purchased was the scariest part of the tour. Your better off spending your money at the bar and listening to a local drunk tell stories. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the tour of the Charleston Graveyards. The guide was very informative and knowledgeable of the history of Charleston and it's resident ghosts. The only problem we really incurred was we couldn't hear the tour guide very well. He had done the tour the night before in the rain and was losing his voice. The guide even had pictures to show us of the ghosts he was talking about. We really enjoyed doing the tour and plan to visit Charleston this fall and do another tour with this company. | ||||||

| The tour was informative as far as the history of Charleston. The guide seemed to know many interesting tidbits. The walk was at a pretty comfortable pace and not too long in length. Although you couldn't really see much in the dark, some of the sites were interesting to see. We didn't see any ghosts, but we really didn't expect to. We did this tour really just for the entertainment aspect of it. An avid ghost hunter would probably be disappointed. The only thing we didn't like about the tour was that the guide ended up tour abruptly in the middle of Charleston - 3-1/2 blocks away from where we started. He basically said if we needed directions to get back where we started, to ask him. I thought this was a bit ridiculous considering it was 11pm!! | ||||||

| This tour wasn't as good as I'd hoped for. We had a nice storm right before to set the mood but the stories weren't that believable or interesting. The graveyard was so cramped. I'd thought we'd see specific graves and hear specific stories about the famously buried. There just wasn't anything that jumped out and really caught our interest. I wouldn't go again or recommend this one. Go to the jail instead! | ||||||

| We were on the ghost walking tour that started out a little wet by a quick passing storm. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a very nice since of humor that keeped us focused and laughing. We were very pleased with the tour and was glad it wasn't made up to have things jumping out at you. We would be disappointed if it had seemed staged in any way. Our tour guide was nice enough to give us a extra story because of the delay the rain had caused. It is a tour we would definitly take again. | ||||||

| Going into this, I thought it might be a hokey tour but when my family and I went, it made me a believer in ghosts. The weather set the stage, it was lighting and raining. We were soaked so we were really happy to go inside. But before we went in, we went to the bathroom downstairs through the outside entrance. I didn't notice anything but my girls kept taking myspace pictures and thejr camera wouldn't work half the time and the battery went low really quickly. We never thought anything about this, then on the tour, we took lots of pictures and the same thing kept happening not only to my family but to everyone else too. As the girls were looking at the pics they noticed orbs in the picture. We have never seen anything like this ever. I was very skeptic about all this but I felt a bad presence in there. I also saw a red orb in one area of the jail. Now I am a believer and I suggest this tour to everyone that doesn't believe. | ||||||

| Our family loved this tour. Our kids were scared just enough and each swore they saw one of the ghosts. The tour guide was very knowledgable and informative. AND our tour had a little something extra...our tour was especially enhanced by the major thunder and lightning storm taking place as we toured the jail. It does take place rain or shine as the ad states...my advice...pray for a storm! Also...pay special attention to that "13th" step! Have fun and happy ghost hunting!!! | ||||||

| The tour started out well with a tale of the ghost of the smokehouse, but went a little shallow in going to the Dungeon at the start of the tour. Very interesting facts and history about the ghosts of Charleston though. And finally the tour ended ubruptly in front of a cemetery without even going in to venture further and the tour guide just left it at that. Great trip in all but may have been better with a more dark and mysterious guide. Plus the tour should have ended up with the dungeon and took one through it a little more without having to worry about another tour coming along behind ours. | ||||||

| Our guide was very nice, knew alot about the area but he had an accent that sounded as though he was from MS or LA not from Charleston. It was hard for my date to understand him. As we later discussed it was worth the money just to be able to walk around Charleston late at night with each other with out worring about our saftey. Interesting stuff but you can only listen about brothels and such for so long. If you want to walk around Charleston late at night and be mildly entertained then I would do this tour, if your looking to be really entertained I would not recommend it. | ||||||
