The tour goes beyond the graveyard, which I thought was excellent, while providing many ghost stories based on the real past of Charleston. I have been to Charleston many times and continue to enjoy these kinds of tours. There are always more stories to hear!

The tour provided a look into some of Charleston's history with a spooky twist. I was intrigued the entire time and really loved my experience.

I loved the Jail Tour, I hyped myself up which made it even more scary. I would definitely recommend the tour to all of my friends who will be in the area and will do it again the next time I come to town. Our guide Glenn was phenomenal and kept the tour entertaining, the only downfall was we had an annoying member in our group but we shut him up quickly. Keep up the great work!

After reading a lot of great reviews for this tour myself and three friends signed up for halloween night to see if we could get a scare. We were all unimpressed with our tour guide, he was hard to understand because of the way he told the stories, it felt like he was trying to scare us but it ended up just confusing. Secondly, with everyone flashing pictures the entire time it wasn't very spooky, it just seemed like a tour in the dark. We saw three rooms total, even though the building seemed huge and possibly could have seen a lot more, or at least heard about more "ghosts" stories that were supposed to be haunting the building, we were told about 2 ghosts. Lastly, the tour guide spent 10 minutes in the basement at the end talking about how the money spent on tickets goes right back into the restoration of the building and it was really unnecessary. We took the tour to see the jail, not learn about where my tickey money is spent. We would have rather sat in an empty black room for those ten minutes just listening to silence to see if we could hear or feel a chilly ghost...that was the point of the ghost tour, right? All in all, we were disapointed. I would, however, take the tour again just hopefully with a different guide and just because I am curioius about real ghost stories! Hope this helps in deciding whether the tour is for you. Thanks!

This was a historical tour not a haunted tour.

We enjoyed this tour quite a bit. It was an entertaining and fun experience. Our tour guide was great and had some great stories and history to share about the different buildings and Charleston area that were a part of the tour!

This tour is a little different...not a ghost tour but a great historical tour! Lane did a wonderful job of supplying us with some lesser known history of the area. I thought it was awesome that he was able to recall facts and years so well. I would even take the tour again:). Great way to spend a night in Charleston

I really enjoyed our ghost tour. Karen was GREAT! She is really into her job and that makes the tour enjoyable. Plus, she is just a genuinely nice person and that's easy to tell. The only thing is that the stories can get long. It's sometimes hard to stand for that long and listen to a long story. I find the material really interesting, I just get sidetracked if the story is TOO detailed and long. But I would definitely recommend this to others!

We had Franny as our guide and she was awesome! We actually took two tours from Buldog tours in one night and would have gladly done another the following night but had tickets to a show and no time to spare! We have been on ghost tours all over the south and this is one of the best! Franny was a great tour guide and very friendly. She seemed to know so much about the history and area. I would be willing to take the tour again...this time with my mom because she loves these kind of tours! See ya next time!

Fun time. My favorite part was the dungeon. The ghost stories weren't incredibly believable, but nice effort.

Glen was a great tour guide, tailoring the tour to what we wanted to hear about. Our group was very shy, so my girlfriend and I spoke up. As locals, we wanted more of a focus on the history, and that's what we got! The tour finishes in a student workshop on the bottom floor, which kind of killed the mood with the fluorescent lights. Overlook that and it was awesome! Glen made the tour though, so I hope you're lucky enough to get him as a guide.
