Bulldog Tours

I enjoyed the locations the guide chose as well as the stories he chose to tell.

There were too many people on the tour, so it was hard to hear at times; one person on tour had cell phone that kept ringing and the tour guide did not ask him to turn it off; tour guide did not seem very sure of herself--her stories were a little confused.

A good walk and some stories is about all you will get. Went to Provost dungeon and didn't have any time to look around. Then went to cemetery but didn't get to go in. That was the Tour. The End.

my husband and I were looking forward to our ghost tour of the jail for weeks. When we arrived in Charleston we went to Bulldog office and recieved our tickets and directions. Later that night we started walking to the jail to meet our group. We walked through dark streets and what they fail to tell you is that the jail is in the projects. We were half way there, no other people were around, we got nervous and turned around. We went back to Bulldog tours and voiced our concerns and they did offer to let us go on a differant tour that night. We were going to accept but our shuttle did not run that late. We were out $36 but saftey comes first. All the other tours met at Bulldog office and walked to there destinations in big groups. Why the jail tour does not i don't know.

My husband and myself took the jailhouse tour on a Sunday evening. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had great stories. We got a spook when we heard what sounded like a chain dragging in one the rooms. We also got pictures of some spirits. The tours was very interesting as well as entertaining.

Since it is a R-rated tour, we thought it would be more provocative one. The information that the tour guide gave us was nothing new. I thought we should have taken the "Ghost Tour" instead of this. The tour was very disappointing.

The three or four sites we visited were good, not sure the cost was worth it. The historical part and the tour guide was pretty good. I figured I would see a lot more than just four sites - kinda a waste of time.

My sister and I both loved the history and spooky tales that were told by our tour guide. He was very energetic and informative. We would definitely do it again!

Our guide was susan D. Susan was very knowledgable about the areas on her tour and was very entertaining. We had a delightful experience and would not hesitate to use Bull Dog again.

I had done a ghost tour in Charleston a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Went home scared and everything, nightmares included. This time around it was more of a history tour, which I guess I enjoyed. But I think I was just expecting a lot more, especially with the dungeon. Kind of a disappointment, but I still enjoyed the history part of it.

Very entertaining and fascinating stories. The tour guide, Lane, was great and I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Charleston that would like to know a little bit of the darker history of the city.

fun, entertaining and informational

My girlfriend and I went on the dungeons and ghost tour and had a great time. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. He was also an outstanding story teller and you could tell he knew Charleston history inside and out. Overall it was an extremely enjoyable evening. Highly recommended!!

The tour was interesting and thought provoking. Our guide was an excellent story teller who kept the tour moving along well. He was able to answer all our questions and had great insight into life in Charleston in years past. The tour was not so much scary as shocking while hearing about some of the "less mainstream" activities in Charleston's long history. Our entire group had a great time!
