Bulldog Tours

this was my first trip to Charleston and I must say probably my favorite thing we did. if you are in to creepy old things that may go bump in the night you should check it out. it helped that our guide Braxton was awesome!

Tour informative and enjoyable. Guide very knowledgeable...some stories bled over from her other tours. Fun way to see the city

The tour was fantastic. Great stories. The next time I'm in town, my girlfriend and I will definitely book another one w/ bulldog tours!

Unfortunately we didn't run into any ghosts, but the tour was well led by a great, knowledgeable guide.

The Ghost and Dungeon Tour we took was quite a disappointment. Our tour guide did an excessive amount of talking and only took us to four locations. We were only able to enter one of the four locations that we went to. The tour ended up at the Waterfront Park with the tour guide spending over a half hour telling tall tells and showing us bogus pictures. He basically left it up to us to either follow him back to where we started or leave from that site to venture out on our own. I didn't feel that we received our $54.00 worth. We were extremely disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Would highly recommend and would even go on it again!

Very Interesting, typical ghost walk tour, it was great going inside the dungeon and not just walking past it listening to a story. The disappointment was that there is several places such as the jail that they don't take you to because it is a separate tour. But other than that, it was informative and I believe I did capture a picture of a pirate ghost.

First let me say our guide Susan was wonderful. However for the price we paid I expected a lot more than walking around the outside of the jail and then going in 2 rooms and a hallway. I was very disappointed. When we walked outside and she said ok I am going to let you go now a few people (myself included) said that's it? I would not go back and for the qualilty of what was classified on the website as possibly the scariest place you will ever go, I give it 2 thumbs down.

This tour was a great introduction to Charleston for a first time visitor. Our guide, Brooke, was very informative and presented many interesting insights regarding the history of Charleston and the architecture of the historic district. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

Our tour guide was Glenn. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. The tour wasn't what I expected. From the reviews on here, I thought it would be very scary but it was wasn't at all. Our tour was at 9 pm and the jail inside was pitch black. People were just snapping pictures the whole time trying to catch an orb on camera. This got to be a bit annoying at times. I don't think I would do this tour again.

My husband & I took this tour on his birthday & we had a great time. Our tour guide was so interesting to listen to & had amazing knowledge of Charleston's history. He was open to any questions & provided as much background on the areas we visited as desired. The highlight was when he took us to an incredibly spooky graveyard to finish out our tour.

The tour guide led us through the Jail, and was highly knowledgeable of the history of the jail and the hauntings. This made the experience far more exciting than just a ghost store. One of the best tours ever!

Tour was good -- excellent historical detail. However, when tour was over, we were left to find our way back to our hotel, having been in town for 4 hours prior to this tour.

This is a very good tour. Our guide, Susan, was very well rounded on the history of the jail. She pointed out at the beginning of the tour that it was a historical tour, not a tour to scare you... So don't expect any evil clowns or Freddy Kruegers to come jumping out at you. We were told that this is the best ghost tour in Charleston and my wife and I fully agree. Don't forget to bring your camera... you won't regret it.

We had so much fun. Went on another one the same night. Will go on the others the next time we visit Charleston
