| Our tour guide took us to a graveyard where we only got one ghost story and then told a couple little graveyard facts that had no creepiness to them at all. Then our tour guide walked us about 4 blocks down to a street intersection where because she was sweating and didn't really want to walk anymore stood for a little over an hour and told us a few ghost stories that were long, boring and not at all creepy. We really didn't have a good time and saw no haunted places. | ||||||

| My boyfriend and I enjoyed the tour very much. Larry, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and told the stories really well. He kept the tour very interesting by discussing historical aspects and showing us personal pictures during the tour. He had a personal touch as well by helping us back to our car. I would highly recommend this tour to others. | ||||||

| The information and stories on the tour were really interesting except our guide was hard to understand. He was knowledgeable, but didn't tell stories in chronological order or in a sensical way. He also had an odd cadence that made it difficult to follow his stories. We were really disappointed as we were looking forward to this tour. It would have been a great tour with a different guide. | ||||||

| The jail itself was very spooky and provided a very interesting experience, both historically and paranormally. The tour guide left something to be desired. She was very informative but her presentation was a little too nonchalant, almost as if she were tired of doing the tour. At the time we went the jail was under renovation so there was a lot of construction equipment lying around that took away from the atmosphere, but I suppose getting to see the jail with the equipment in it is better than it being completely closed for renovation. Overall, we would recommend this tour to others. | ||||||

| My wife and I have been on a number of ghost tours, as well as general informational tours of the areas we've visited, and this was the worst one. This was a stroll along the streets with an occasional stop at a historic building ( graveyard tour was disappointing). No ghosts (or even a chance at seeing some phenomana) and long winded stories. We had several kids in our tour and the tour guide spent most of the time talking to th kids and dumbing everything down to their level. I really suggest you not take this tour. Like I said, a very bad use of time and money! | ||||||

| It was neat to learn a bit about the spookier side of Charleston. I would have enjoyed a bit more history over hokey, though. The story-telling from our guide was decent enough. The tours groups were so closely shadowing each other that it was hard not to overhear the group in front or in back of you. The one in front of us seemed to be an excellent story teller when I could hear her. She was also from Bulldog so it seems it might be hit or miss with this crew. As an operation, Bulldog seemed to have it down to a science;we were in and out quickly. I know they are in the business of making money but it would have been nice to have one or two less tours heading out together. Tripping over one another really took away from the experience. | ||||||

| I was very anxious for the Dungeon tour, as I had seen it featured on the Travel Channel and had been wanted to visit Charleston for quite some time! After doing the Graveyard and City Jail tours the previous night, I couldn’t wait for the Dungeon tour. However, once inside I was feeling left a bit disappointed. Our tour guide was wonderful and she had great knowledge of the city’s history which was great but the Dungeon itself left me feeling empty. I didn’t like the “staged” scene inside – it was a bit distracting and a little cheesy to say the least and it felt rushed in a way. Now it could have been that the wedding party upstairs was causing the distraction piece of that. I felt that the tour for being so long, would have spent more time on/in the Dungeon. I would still recommend (with caution) this tour to others though. I also think it would be good to group some of your packages together…having done the Ghost & Graveyard tour, a lot of the historical information was duplicated. I just didn’t think we got our monies worth. | ||||||

| Second ghost walk I've been on - different stories from the last!! Fantastic journey through history, whether you see a ghost or not. Enjoyed the Provost Dungeon, in the dark, without all of the animatronics. | ||||||

| The Jail Tour is a fun thing to do with a group of friends as we did. However, the tour guide, although interesting, had very limited knowledge on specific incidences that occurred there, which would have enhanced the tour. I know these stories exist as some are on the website. Also, the jail had a great deal of construction going on from the school that was doing research there. It kind of kills the mood when you're looking at new scaffolding and materials. It was good, but definitely could have been better. | ||||||
