I throughly enjoyed every minute of this tour, in fact after it was over I was mad with myself for not having time to do some of the other ones. Oh well, a reason to come back,,,,soon. Franny did an excellent job on moving our group thru the streets and adjusting her conversation for our group as well as being mindful of the other tour groups in the area. She has a lot knowledge and was able to answer any and all questions that were directed to her. If all the tour guides do as good a job as she performed I know the tours I am coming back for will be well worth the trip. I would say if one were to take only one ghost tour of Charleston, it better be a Bulldog Tour! |

My wife and I absolutely loved the culinary tour. Our guide was outgoing, warm, and very knowledgeable about southern cuisine and history. The chefs were eager to share their kitchen, their history, and their philosophies as well as their food. We're planning to take this tour again with our kids. |

Anyone he thinks this will be a ghost tour will be disappointed. Nice tour guide, but not very ghost related. |

The group was quite eclectic, we had some very young kids join us, that detracted from the tour guides ability to give a thorough tour. |

The tour was interesting the whole way through, with an educated and spirited tour guide (Hoon Calhoun) who had a surplus of spooky stories that were fascinating. The group was the perfect size, not too big or too small, which allowed personal interaction with the tour guide. In addition to the stories, it was nice to see the city of Charleston during a different type of the day. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone! |

I am sure other tour offerings from Bulldog are great. We passed many that sounded interesting as we walked by mostly silent with our tour guide. I hate to say it, but our guide seemed mostly lost and when he did stop to talk it was very low volume and hard to understand. He repeated some of his points many times and his history knowledge was questionable. I would a say overall. Our guide was not interested in giving us this tour. May have had better luck picking a passing stranger to do the same thing. |

The guides stories didn't make much sense, there were large holes in the logic. We just seemed to wander in a circle for an hour and a half over a 2 block area. |

The tour guide was truly interesting, energetic and enthusiastic, despite it being so hot that you could melt. We heard a lot of very interesting stories, she made the whole experience very interactive and spent all the time we wanted answering our questions. We were able to sample authentic stone-ground grits (which I purchased before leaving town), sweet tea, low-country cuisine and then ended up at a marvelous seafood house where we had a great lunch and more sweet tea. I never used to like sweet tea but I came to love it and am disappointed that it isn't more readily available where I am. I heartily recommend anyone from outside of Charleston (or even inside...we had one gentleman who was a life-long resident of the city on the tour) to take this tour as it will be a very enjoyable and memorable experience. |

Tour was interesting and informative. We had younger children in our group (10 year olds) that got a little scared due to the darkness. However, it was good. |

Our guide did a very good job and knew the information well. He provide good story telling with a twist of his own. The tour itself was good, and might have been better at 9:00 pm. (we took the 7:00). We can't wait to do the Haunted Jail tour.
Very good tour, If you are in Charleston, it should be on your list of things to do. |

My wife and I had a great time. Dave our tour guide was a great story teller and made the tour so real and unforgettable. He added a real local and personal touch to the stories that made them so believable. It was also a real treat to be able to go into the oldest graveyard in Charleston in complete darkness. In "Bloody Alley" my wife was able to capture a picture of what appears to be a ghostly orb. Thanks. I'm glad we selected Bull Dog Tours. |
