| Based on the description online, this should have been a really interesting tour. It wasn't. Our guide was awful. He couldn't tell a good story. Worse than that though, he used a ridiculous amount of profanity. I'm all for an R-rating when it adds something to the experience, but this guy was clearly over the top. Maybe he was trying to compensate for how boring his tour was. I could say a lot worse about our experience, I don't mean to discourage anyone from taking the tour at all; with another tour guide it might be great. | ||||||

| The tour had lots of good information, but Jim talked more about history (which is great, but we had taken another tour for that earlier in the day) than about the ghosts and more supernatural aspects of Charleston. While we appreciated his thoroughness, the tour was supposed to be an hour and a half, and ended up at two and a half hours in the 50-degree cold. Again, didn't dislike the tour, but it could have been done better with a bit more of a flair for the dramatic. | ||||||

| A group of us went to Charleston to celebrate my birthday. We took the 7:00 tour. It was supposed to last 90 minutes but it was over 2 hours..We definately got our money's worth. Our guide was very nice. He was factual and not over the top with hype. He had photos with him of ghosts that had been taken at a few of the sights we went to. The dungeon was really neat! The chains were swaying for no earthly reason which made us all feel alittle scared..:) I would recommend it. It is a LOT of walking so not for people who have trouble with cobblestone pathways etc. Also, I recommend having a few cocktails before you go like we did. It makes it more interesting too. | ||||||

| I really enjoyed this tour because the tour guide knew his material. He let us know a lot about Charleston's history. I enjoyed the dungeon tour because our guide let us see some pictures that were taken there with some pictures of orbs and ghosts. My boyfriend also enjoyed it more than he thought he would. We also visited a graveyard which had meny creepy stories behind it. With the tour guide enthusiastic it made this experience fun and it made me want to capture many pictures. And I did get lots of pictures of orbs. | ||||||

| I took other tours while in Charleston and this was the best. Our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. I think he provided more history in one tour than most history classes do in a year. He explained about taking pictures and what to look for in our media to provide proof of ghosts. I can't explain it but I saw it. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone planning a trip to Charleston. | ||||||

| I loved the tour of the old city jail and all the stories of it's history. Truly amazing to listen to how the incarcerated were treated back then compared to how it is today. The building itself needs to be seen if you are going to Charleston, wether you decide to visit the ghosts or just walk by to see the exterior structure. Well worth the tour. | ||||||

| Loved the history presented in a way that was very interesting. Even if you don't believe in ghosts, you'll enjoy the tour because of the historical value. Learning about Charleston and seeing the old buildings while being told about them was fascinating. The children in our group ranged in age from 9 - 17. They all enjoyed the tour very much and enthusiastically asked many questions. The only criticism I could think of is that the tour guide seemed to tire of their endless questions. Also, we had pre-ordered tickets and knew we would be late. We were a group of 10 along with another group of 10 that was able to get there on time. We were forced to either forfeit our tickets or go at a later time. We obviously went on a later tour and enjoyed it very much. However, the plans we had previously made were cancelled due to the late hour the tour was over. We were only 5 minutes late. | ||||||

| I went with a group of 3 friends in all. Our entire tour group was 20 people. The tour guide, Suzzane, was excellent. I think she made it more scarry by the stories than being in the building itself. I was dissapointed that it seemed to end abruptly. You see two rooms in the jail on the tour, I thought you would be guided to more areas. However, the guide did say while were in the last room we could venture up the stairs on our own while she was speaking. We didn't do this, as we thought once she was finished with that room we'd go to more areas. Also, you were apparently more inclinded to have a sighting or something w/less people. I was afraid to go anywhere without the WHOLE group. Its was a bit creepy. The history surrounding it is very interesting as well. A couple did venture outside of that room and saw a shadow pass in front of them and captured a bright orb on their camera with a smiling face (words of the guide who then examined the picture). If you're into the paranormal, you should go. If not, stay FAR AWAY!! | ||||||

| The atmosphere was scary. Our tour guide Suzann was absolutely the best tour guide I've ever had. I've been on several ghost tours in Charleston and other cities and I could say she was the best. The only bad part was it didn't last long enough! | ||||||

| the interior was a little disappointing, since it was under renovation, but very neat and the tour guide was fantastic and very enthusiastic! would definitely like to try another tour again soon! | ||||||
